We're a park and go and offer all the basic necessities in a very quiet forest location, but we're still just north of all of the popular beaches. It's run by me, my wife, my son, and our new little puppy Ollie (he's the most important.)
There's a grocery store nearby, and all RV types up to 45ft are welcome here, with 20, 30, and 50 amp hookups available. Water, sewer, trash, electric, and wifi are all included at no additional charge. Doordash is available, and Hungry Howies Pizza also delivers to us if you're not feeling like cooking. Every site has a picnic table and fire pit, and Firewood, Propane, and Laundry facilities are also available on-site for you to purchase or pay for as well.
We do NOT have public restrooms. Primitive camping and popups with no restrooms are currently not allowed.
Weekly and Monthly discount rates are also available if you go directly to my website and book there. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Maggie and Mike are spectacular hosts going to extra mile when you stay. They are musicians so I was fortunate enough to turn up when they had a concert on in their yard. The provided food and refreshments.
Very helpful and thoughtful people. We had great conversations about food and swapped a curry I made for some fresh honey from their hives.
Leto could go off leash and the site is easy to enter and exit. Would recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

Maggie’s Place was perfect. I met Maggie personally and she was so warm and inviting. I loved my stay and would definitely stay again. The bathrooms were wonderfully clean, and the little kitchen area was a great bonus for tent camping. If you’re looking for a neat, unique place to stay, this is it!

You won’t meet nicer, more hospitable hosts. They’re working hard to realize their dream. This property has an island to explore with a marked walking path and lighting. The only way to get to it is via a floating dock. The owners are making improvements to the walking trail as well as finishing up a community kitchen complete with stove, sink, refrigerator and his and her bathrooms complete with showers for primitive and RV campers alike! You feel like you’re in a very remote place when you’re actually close to everything you might need. The property is filled with majestic oaks, cedar, magnolia and cypress trees. Absolutely wonderful! We will be back!

I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

They ended up being the unexpected highlight, instead of an overnight stop over, towards our destination. Lake City Campground is somewhat remote & quiet - just what my husband & I were looking for. The common area bathrooms & kitchen were clean & convenient. The proximity to Lake Jackson & a few other nearby areas of interest such as Finks Mill and Andalusia were an added bonus for this location. If you’re looking for no crowds but nearby activities, then this is an ideal campground.

Spacious, basic, and quiet, with occasional road noise. Very natural environment with trees and a small orchard, access to potable water to rinse and drink. Wooden fence around property, we felt very safe! Lighted and clean port a potties and 2 wonderful hot showers. Detached kitchen with power outlets and fridge a super plus!
The most incredibly warm and welcoming hosts ever, Maggie and Mike are very responsive hosts, and gave us excellent advice and suggestions for our nearby explorations, they made us feel at home. Beaches between 40-60 min away depending on which beach.
