We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly. Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy! The home features a private screened cookhouse with a wood burning grill, satellite TV and plenty of private parking for your vehicle and boat trailer.

I am offering short-term rentals of my houseboat this season. It is located on the Apalachicola River, about 1 mile upstream of Neal Landing near Blountstown, and is only accessible by motorboat or paddle vessel. The houseboat is in a fixed location and does not move. It is furnished with two beds, a futon, and a loft for extra sleeping space, and there is a generator for power. This is a primitive camp, not a luxury resort stay. You must bring gasoline for the generator if you want power. The beds have hygienic mattress covers, but you should bring your own sleeping bag and pillow cover. You can relieve yourself at the boat ramp porta-potty (~1 mile away) or in the composting camp toilet out back. You must bring bottled drinking water or a Sawyer filter for river water. There is a propane stove/oven, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit out front if you bring wood or collect it. An outside propane instant hot water heater with a shower head and privacy screen is available if you need to get clean and don’t want to hop in the river. My goal is to offer a unique experience and provide a code to the door for the agreed time frame, not to provide every convenience. I would charge more for each stay if that were the case because it would be a real challenge for me to get to the houseboat and keep it stocked. If you come prepared for a camping trip, you will have a great time; if you come with nothing, you probably will not. This is my first time renting it out, so all the logistics are not fully sorted yet. I’m willing to talk with potential guests to see if we can work something out if additional amenities or comforts are required. This is an awesome camp for a hunting or fishing weekend, with enough room for a few friends to relax and enjoy some beers in the evening. This is not a random cash-grab rental property. This is my personal camp retreat, and I only want to share it with people who will be respectful of it and the river. More photos coming soon.

There is a propane stove/oven, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit out front if you bring wood or collect it. An outside propane instant hot water heater with a shower head and privacy screen is available if you need to get clean and don’t want to hop in the river. My goal is to offer a unique experience and provide a code to the door for the agreed time frame, not to provide every convenience. I would charge more for each stay if that were the case because it would be a real challenge for me to get to the houseboat and keep it stocked. If you come prepared for a camping trip, you will have a great time; if you come with nothing, you probably will not. This is my first time renting it out, so all the logistics are not fully sorted yet. I’m willing to talk with potential guests to see if we can work something out if additional amenities or comforts are required. This is an awesome camp for a hunting or fishing weekend, with enough room for a few friends to relax and enjoy some beers in the evening. This is not a random cash-grab rental property. Elevated on a 20x28 wood deck, surrounded by lush landscaping and many extras, this campsite is less than an hour from lakes, rivers, natural springs, and the famous Emerald Coast. Roam the small fruit and vegetable gardens, where, depending on the season, you can pick grapes and other berries, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, or vegetables like tomatoes, okra, peppers, or squash. Whether you're seeking a romantic escape for two or a family adventure, this glamping haven provides something for everyone. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit, relax in a hammock swing, grill your favorite meal on the bbq, or lay back in the bell tent comfy queen bed while enjoying the AC. If you are looking for an experience, and not just some patch of dirt to camp on, Paradise Gardens is for you. Ronald and Pat are a wonderful couple who created a special spot, super cozy and equipped, under the amazing high pines. We spend 2 nights with our baby and had a relax quiet family time. First time in nature for our trip and loved it! The garden is slowly developing in to a jewel between the forests trees. The gas heater did the work, we had nice and warm inside the tent.

Glamping in Paradise is a gem! The site is well appointed; we were surprised to find many amenities and thoughtful touches. Our stay endured chilly nights, warm days, and a quick downpour - no worries here with the fireplace, A/C and fan, and thick tent. The lights outside were so cozy at night and we enjoyed looking at all the plants. Host was communicative and quick to respond to app messages during our stay. A unique and enjoyable camping (glamping) experience!

This was the best campsite that I've ever been to. The campground is beautiful and secluded. The interior of the tent is super cozy, I slept better there than in my own bed at home! The owners put so much thought and consideration into amenities that make the stay so much nicer. The kitchenette is a super nice addition, with multiple cooking utensils for use with the charcoal grill. Not to mention the owners themselves were super kind and accommodating. I can't wait until I book another trip here in the future!

It had everything you could possibly need (sink, hammock, campfire, s'mores stick, picnic table, portapotties, fridge, AC, blankets, coffee maker, and even a nice little bowl of candy!) This place is so beautiful, especially at night when all the lights came on. The photos look great, but it is 10x better in person. There were many little things that made the experience nicer, too. There are k-cup coffees, tea, and many things that helped make it memorable (like bbq tongs and mits and a refrigerator!). The air conditioning in combination with the powerful fan kept the tent comfortable in the afternoon and that, along with the plush bed covers, made sleeping awesome. The noise from the fan drowns out any nature noises, too. My one suggestion would be to have a light in the toilet building. The lantern was okay to carry along, but it would be nicer if it had a light. Will definitely camp here again. Maybe later in the Fall. Oh, a word to other campers.... bring OFF because there are some mosquitoes, just like everywhere in Florida.
