Camp Declan

Camp Declan is many things rolled into one.

First, it is a private six-acre hardwood forest with 400’ of shoreline on a fresh-water, all-purpose lake. The air is clean and fresh and the fish, birds and Florida wildlife teem around you.


Second, are the three buildings Cabin, Cabana and Bunkhouse. Each has a bathroom and the Cabin and Bunkhouse accommodate 18 overnight guests comfortably. The Cabana serves as outdoor bar/kitchen and hangout. Larger groups can be accommodated with a little ingenuity, too.


Third, the layout of the property is such that the lake and large floating dock are always the star of the show. Whether you’re playing volleyball, badminton or horse shoes, sitting around the fire pit or canoeing on the lake, the sum of its parts makes a wonderful private indoor/outdoor lodging and recreation space for fishing, swimming, boating and grilling.

Karma Acres Farm was started in 2010 by Lee Hughes and Lisa Broward to promote their love for beekeeping and gardening for wildlife. They produce wonderful, natural, raw honey and honey products for their local community. In fact, their farm was voted as #1 best honey provider in Nassau County in 2019.

I'm a retired US Army Veteran, having retired in 1999, My favorite Uncle Phill Allen was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. Back then, so I asked him to co-sign, and he did. Soon after, I got married, and my uncle was the one who gave me away. In July 2000, he left and went back to Texas. He passed 2000. Fishing is great if you like flounders, red bass, brim, catfish and blue crabs and more. Well water is free. You can pitch a tent or park a small size RV or tiny house on wheels. Places you can find within 15 minutes from the location include Jacksonville Airport, Zoo, EverBank Stadium, Amtrak Train Station, and shopping, restaurants and movie theater. Anastasia Island  RV Pad Rental

We love living on Anastasia Island. It is a small Island 2 miles wide by 15 miles long. It is walking distance to the beach,  fishing pier  and amphitheater.  We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house. Our pad is just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is there along with many other attractions.

We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup).   They each have   private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing.

Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 28' in length.  Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length.  Both sites have full RV hookups.  We accept Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers.  Sorry, we can't take Class A and no tent camping is allowed.

There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. 

We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island.

 We are LGBTQ friendly.

Our neighborhood is quiet and safe.

The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here.

Pets are welcome on leash. accompanied by an adult, Each additional pet (over 1 pet) is $5. additional camper fee. There is an off leash  park two blocks away. The beaches are also pet friendly.

We adhere to CDC guidelines for safety.
