This is a wonderful Campsite. It’s laid out very well with many activities available. It’s shady and well kept. The amenities are awesome, including the outdoor shower and available power to the sites. John and John were welcoming and very helpful. AMAZING PLACE. So quiet and well kept. We enjoyed every second, even the rain. We were at the Hideaway. Very secluded and private. The bathroom was pristine. Outside shower was hot and wonderful. The launch for our canoe was fine and the creek was serene and easy to paddle. Pet Friendly!!!! Only comment… Would be nice to have an optional wee light in the shower, maybe a mirror.

A very pleasant place, great for relaxing. The place is very well-equipped and clean. All spots have 110-volt power, extremely useful for charging phones and using some cooking equipment. Firewood is very cheap and delivered to your spot. It has a bathroom and a separate shower. It also has a very well-equipped cabin with everything you need and air conditioning. I will definitely return to this hipcamp.

Camping at J&P Creekside Retreat was a wonderful experience! The campsites are very large and all have fire pits plus the outdoor shower is great with hot water. Hosts John and Patty are friendly and really make you feel welcome. The retreat is located on the Shell Creek and the entire place is truly a little piece of country paradise!

From the moment we arrived, the peaceful, natural setting made it feel like we had discovered a hidden gem. Eric is the best! Very helpful and communicative host and went beyond anything we expected in assisting us with an RV tire issue. The property is well maintained and the adjacent waterway is very relaxing. Eric’s dog Tidy is very friendly and our Bichon found a new friend. The back screened in great room is a great spot to spend an evening. The cabin includes the use use of the Waterfront outdoor kitchen Cabana. Guests love staying here "If you don't like peaceful surroundings and beautiful sunsets and a host that truly goes out of his way to accommodate all your needs then I would avoid this place. My family fell in love with this property when we rescued it from disrepair, it was once known as "Harmony Gardens" and we invite you to join us bringing back the glory. Our property is home to all kinds of wildlife, we have cardinals, bluejays, barred owls, herons, swallow-tailed kites, warblers, huge pileated woodpeckers, and if you wander to the water you may see an alligator or manatee depending on the season. Orange River is the river that passes through the highly rated Manatee Park, we have kayaks and paddleboards available for your pleasure at an additional cost. We have typical comfort restaurants such as Cracker Barrel and Waffle house nearby but I would suggest local flavors of Buckingham Farms and Rum Bucket Grill. I-75 is about 10 minutes away so although we are tucked away, most of FL isnt too far for a day's trip.

Have a 2018 Ford Transit customized and highly developed campervan. Born in Ohio, grew up in Texas / Arkansas. Bought this Florida home in early 2021 that is energy efficient and withstands strong storms well, but not storm proof. Worked diligently for four years to upgrade and improve the property.
