It's about 2 miles to several trails for dirt biking, ATV, hiking, & mountain biking in the San Isabella Forest. Trailer Parking so bring your ATVs and dirt bikes. A Short drive to the Royal Gorge train and park, St Abby's winery, Arkansas rafting and fishing, restaurants and shops. Comes with almost everything for your off grid in nature experience, even an outhouse / shower enclosure.

Serendipity Slope

This land was originally a gold mine in the late 1800s that was then abandoned and later subdivided and sold off. This 10 acres was known as Gold Dollar #1, #2, and #3. There is currently an agricultural grazing lease on the property. The main minerals that can be found are quartz, pyrite and garnet.

Another fire ban trick: just heat your coffee in the back of your car!

We spent a good amount of time just gazing over the land from the perfect viewing spot!

Bring your own camp chairs to pull up to the table at the site. 

Plenty of trees to string up a hammock at. 

If there is no fire ban when you visit, you can make coffee without having to get out of your warm tent in the morning :)

Twisted Sisters Farm

I bought this land to move from HoustonLearn more about this land:I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban .  
Camp anywhere on 60 acres.  In one direction there are rolling meadow.  Another rocky outcropping.  Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line.  If you want access to town you’re there.  You choose how you want to feel.  In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway).  Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs,  ten miles to Divide for grocers.  One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc.  It is first come first serve with the sites.  Two that are near trees for large RVs.  One up higher works for pull thru trailers.  Plenty of room in the pasture.  I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land.  Some  pictures are from late last summer..  We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up.  Also it can be windy.

105 West Ranch

A mountaintop ranch in Colorado that sits below the famous Colorado “14er”, Pikes Peak. This property sits on top of a mountain at an elevation of nearly 10,000ft and features 3 unique Glamping sites! The ranch features a tiny cabin, geodesic dome tent and platform canvas tent. The sites sit on 100 acres of private, pristine Colorado mountain land that offers over 3 miles of private hiking trails and unrivaled views in all directions. A large, mature aspen grove covers most of the property and views to the south stretch over 100 miles! Despite being on a mountain, over 70% of the property sits on level or gently sloping ground making it perfect for camping spots and events. The Eastern edge borders public land, infinitely expanding access and hiking opportunities. It’s only 1,500 feet from a large reservoir and river- both are accessible by hiking or an easy 5 minute drive. 

105 West Ranch also has some deep and unique history. Our area was originally surveyed in 1881. After that, miners came through in the late 1800s and dug prospector pits looking for gold. Many of these pits and even some old tin cans from miner's camps are still visible on the property today. In 1931, the area was re-surveyed with more accuracy. In 1936, the President of the United States, FDR, granted a land patent (homestead) of 632 acres to homesteader. Part of this 632 acre homestead granted by the President was what is now 105 West Ranch.

Fast forward nearly 100 years. My wife, Rachel, and I bought this property in 2019, fulfilling a life-long dream of owning our own land.

Rachel and I live for the outdoors, we work in the outdoor industry and spend every chance we get exploring our beautiful state with our two dogs. As a 4th generation Coloradan, it's been a lifelong dream to own a (relatively) small part of the state my family has called home since the late 1800s. Now that we own our own piece of Colorado heaven we want to share the unforgettable experience, memories and beauty of our property with others looking for an escape from the city.

Perched on top of a hill with breathtaking views of Crystal Peak, this tent is everything you need for an unforgettable getaway. The property offers lots of hiking and exploring. Nearby amenities such as a coffee shop, bar, restaurant, and grocery store are just a 2-minute car ride away. As well as all the activities such as fishing, tubing, hiking, off-roading, disc golfing, and cliff jumping Guffey Cove. This stay is truly a unique experience!

Rhize Mountain Retreat

Come and visit our slice of heaven in the majestic Colorado Rockies within the Pikes Peak National Forest. Only 60 minutes outside of Colorado Springs, you can spend time letting your dream of being in the high country come to life! Guests have use of our completely stocked, beautiful outdoor kitchen with grill and griddle, single and double camp stoves, all pots/pans, plates, cups, prep bowls, knives, cutting boards and utensils are available to our guests...you really only need to bring the food you plan on cooking! Relax and enjoy the custom Adirondack chairs around 12 seat fire pit (or have your personal fire pit experience on our 2 person deck)....this is GLAMPING at it's best!! All of our cabins have comfy sleeping accommodations...you only need to bring your pillow and sleeping bag!  A-frames are set up with a solar light, 5 gallon igloos of fresh spring water, Indian blankets and deck chairs. If you need any additional camping equipment like single burner stoves, sleeping gear, camp heaters, etc., they are available under extras for a small fee.RHIZE (named because the aspen trees are in the RHIZOME family and we have 43 acres of the most incredible aspen grove in Colorado) is truly a slice of heaven.  If you are coming in the fall, there is no better viewing spot than RHIZE MOUNTAIN RETREAT. RHIZE is surrounded by BLM with unlimited hiking on our 43 acre paradise with many options and difficulty levels from easy strolls to miles of more challenging hiking within 5 minutes. Views of Pring Reservoir and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range make every spot truly magical!!The charming mining towns of Victor and Cripple Creek are a short drive (10 minutes) with access to groceries, dining, entertainment, gold and silver mine tours, as well as festivals throughout the season.For those that want to be away from any hustle and bustle, RHIZE is the place for you! You can relax on your private deck, play corn hole, build a fire, read a book in your comfy cabin, take a nap in our hammock hangout in the trees, pick wild flowers, do yoga (private classes available for a small fee), enjoy a bottle of wine as the sun sets behind the mountains and wake to the sound of the many birds and wildlife on the land!There is no shortage of hiking, biking, fishing at the Skagway Reservoir or Eleven Mile Canyon, rock climbing, white water rafting within an hour, ATVing...pretty much any Colorado experience is within reach from this location.Please note a high clearance vehicle with all wheel drive or 4x4 is recommended as the last 2 miles are on unmaintained roads. We are looking forward to helping you create memories that will last a lifetime.
