We are so fortunate to have the little slice of heaven that we have built our creek side mushroom, veggie and flower farm. We are building a labor of love and would love to have like minded folks joining our community by staying in Red Stripe Rhonda on the creek or our cabin on the cliff- The Little B. The 1950's Bellwood trailer could not be more charming with wood paneling, 1950's styling and positioned right overlooking the bridge on the creek. The outdoor heated shower has a view of the creek and a dry toilet. There are several seating areas capturing quaint vignettes of the farm fields, stunning views and produce. My family and I had an amazing time at Kodies land. The Rv location was great and we really enjoyed getting to see the animals and the common area allowed us to have more space to eat and drink coffee in the morning. Hosts were always accommodating and super friendly. Highly recommend!

I loved the camper on High Balsam Farm- it was just what we needed! The farm itself was beautiful, a peaceful creek, butterflies through the rows of flowers & veggies they were growing, cooking supplies, wonderful conversation, and privacy, too! PLUS an outdoor shower & a comfy bed- we couldn’t have loved it more! Highly, highly recommend especially if you’re planning on going to Red Rocks- less than a 20 minute drive away! We hope to visit again!

6 nights at High Balsam Farm

I really enjoyed staying in the Red-Stripe Rhonda camper! I came to Denver for a full week for a conference downtown and was so glad to have a space that felt secluded in nature while only being 10 minutes from everything I needed! I added farm fresh breakfasts cooked by the host most mornings and it was by far the best breakfast I could have got anywhere. I got a tour of their amazing market farm veggie and mushroom operation, and sat outside my space at night to the sound of the creek and wind in the trees. The outdoor shower and composting toilets worked great and it felt like upscale camping in the best way. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone that loves local food, an awesome all inclusive experience, and a super affordable stay that’s hard to find in the area. I’ll be back for sure.

Such a fantastic place! I will definitely be back. It was beautiful and so relaxing. The hosts have a great community set up and Mitch was awesome! He gave us a little history lesson on the area, which is really cool 😎. And bonus points for letting us feed and interact with the animals. Never knew I wanted a donkey until now! We were supposed to go take in some sites nearby, but decided to enjoy the camp site instead, so that says something about this place. We’ll be back for sure!

The property was put together with so much love and intention. It feels very secluded but is only a 5 min drive into near by restaurants if you don’t want to cook. Beth set up a heater and extra blankets for the cold rainy night I stayed. It was so cozy and welcoming. Will be back!

We got a last minute reservation on Kodie's property and it was an amazing stay! We really enjoyed the community area that had amazing unobstructed views of the mountain peaks. Kodie was gone when we arrived but the individual who was taking care of the property was incredibly personable and amazing. She literally made the trip amazing. Very close are a few beautiful state parks and we enjoyed walking Kodie's property. Our girls absolutely loved being able to spend time with the animals. We brought a travel trailer, had electric hookup, and got water to fill our tanks at their property. The communal area had a grill, a propane fire pit, a large table for eating, and a few relaxing sitting arrangements (including a hammock). Pulling into the area was easy, plenty of spaces to turn around if necessary. The tent area is also nice and secluded. We would highly recommend coming for a weekend.

I stayed in the Red-Stripe Rhonda for 6 nights and had a wonderful experience! Beth and Rob extended the WiFi so that I was able to work remotely with no wifi issues near the camper, delivered ice packs daily for the cooler, and even gifted fresh spinach and herbs. They were fantastic hosts and living by the peaceful stream in the cozy camper made for a memorable stay. Highly recommend!

Rob and Beth were excellent hosts. Ronda treated us well. It was the perfect spot close to a lot of points of interest. It was the perfect spot where you felt secluded enough while still being in close proximity to the city. If you’re into unique quirky stays and roughing it a bit, this is the perfect option. It also feels great to be supporting individuals like Beth and Rob who play a role in the community like they do with their sustainable farming practices.

Really sweet camper in a really nice setting. Everything I needed for an overnite stay. Was able to heat up some food, make coffee, read at the table and in the bed. Comfortable inside and out with chairs in a couple of locations on the creek, very peaceful and relaxing! Beth and her partner were very friendly, helpful, and inviting. As stated in the summary, the location is convenient to local retail and health centers which met my needs...though do allow extra time in the morning for morning traffic!
