It's a relaxing place to camp, with plenty of hiking trails and open space to walk. The community is very welcoming to campers. We had a great time enjoying the pool!

Awesome stay. Ben and his family were warm and hospitable. Doggos were great company. Will be back for sure. Definitely a hidden gem of San Diego and should be on everyon’s bucket list to camp at the Desert View Tower.

Casa Agave is a fantastic place to stay. Our family of four spent two nights there and felt very comfortable. Greg provided all the essentials, including an oven, hot water, fridge, and even a coffee machine!
The private fire pit and the breathtaking view of the tabletop mountain make it an ideal spot to unwind and end your day. Watching the sunset and the starry night sky is truly a magical experience.

Beautiful surroundings and a couple convenient flat areas on the ridge accessible by car. Great star gazing and eggs for breakfast from their hen house was a nice touch!

Gerry was a great host! We got a huge parking different plenty of room to hang outside. He was very generous and even blew up his bounce house so my son could play in it. He also let me use his printer! This spot is about 15 minutes from the Mexacali East border crossing making it a great option on the way down to Baja. Would highly recommend!

I love the camping area, it was super clean and with a table and chairs to use. Ben and Sam were super nice and helpful. We forgot our tent and they were super helpful and let us borrow a really nice one. Definitely will come back. The place is nice and hikings are fun. Thank you

The host, Jerry, was such a gracious host and our stay was perfect. He welcomed us as we drove up and was so warm and generous the entire time we were there, sharing tacos and stories with us like old friends. The grounds were nice, flat and safe, and with farm animals to include a cute pug named Ceasar. I’d definitely recommend staying here. It was the perfect launching point for our trip to Baja.

Gerry is super friendly and welcoming and the location is perfect for us as we travel into Mexico. He has created a fun atmosphere and level surfaces to park and camp. We were ready to be self contained but there were porta potties there! Highly recommend.

Interesting place with a view of Alamo River and sunset. Chickens, turkeys and pig came to greet us and were entertaining to watch. Geraldo was generous and accommodating. Some road noise but felt safe and slept well.

I loved the camping experience we had at the tower! Table, fire pit, and water in the sites. Nice clean bathrooms short walk from all sites and fun hiking trails in the rocks. Host was super communicative. FYI it’s a little walk in from the parking to your campsite, you can’t just drive up to the site so keep in mind with your equipment.
