Welcome to our tiny cabin-style home privately situated on one acre off a gravel county road, surrounded by woods on three sides, giving you a sense of seclusion while still providing you easy access to nearby amenities.
There are no other homes on this one acre property; this will be your private retreat during your stay.
500 sq ft of rustic charm with a covered deck in both the front and back. This tiny home has two comfortable queen size beds plus a queen air mattress, two nap mats, and three sleeping bags available.
There is a ½ bath off the hallway, with a separate shower with privacy glass in the back bedroom.
Note the back bedroom does not have a privacy door, but rather a privacy curtain.
In keeping with the spirit of allowing you to fully unplug, the home does not provide Wi-Fi. Instead, guests are invited to browse a curated DVD library—a nostalgic, intentional entertainment feature that encourages shared experiences and relaxation for families and couples alike.
Actual conversation around the firepit, a DVD player for rainy days, and discovering rocks and crystals in the yard after it rains. We are a new 2021 RV park located in Big Fork, AR, 20 miles east of Mena and 30 miles south of Mt. Ida. We have 5 pull-through sites with full hook-ups. Sites are very spacious at 75' x 20' plus picnic, firepit, and seating areas. Guests have private access to the Big Fork Creek with swimming holes and waterfalls. We are also located near the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails, and guests can ride directly to the trails from their RV site. Local rental companies are available for anyone not wanting to bring their own ATVs. There is plenty of overflow parking for trailers for those that do bring their own on the property as well.

We stayed in this cute little cabin in the woods near Glenwood and used it as a perfect base camp for exploring the area. The cabin is small, yet the floor plan is thoughtfully laid out so the space feels maximized. In addition to the two queen beds, we used the two sleeping mats for extra sleeping space and found them quite comfortable. Having a small fridge and freezer plus a washer was a big help, and since it was summer I hung our laundry on the provided clothesline to dry (a dryer is available too).
The location is quiet—there are neighbors on the road, but the summer foliage completely hid them from view and we never heard a sound.
One of my sons especially loved hunting for quartz and gemstones in the yard and put together a sparkling little collection.
We explored the Saturday Farmers Market, the Mercantile downtown with its local goods, and spent time swimming and fishing on the nearby Caddo River.
We’d recommend this place if you want a rustic camping vibe but still appreciate a locking door, real beds, a shower, and a spot to store and cook your food.

Weekend Trip to Rose Retreat
I loved staying at Rose's studio cabin! It was so cute the way she has it decorated. It even includes a sauna in the cabin, which is very nice. The queen bed was very comfortable and had two nightstands that had charging ports and plug-ins. There was a roll-away bed with linens, but I did not use it. The kitchenette was nicely furnished and you could even purchase a dozen eggs fresh from the chickens on the property. The bathroom was very nice and a sample of homemade soap made by Rose was nicely packaged as a gift. There are a menagerie of animals on the property just waiting to be petted. They include goats, dogs, sheep, lambs, and chickens. There are also wildlife that live in the surrounding woods that can be seen. Many local attractions are close by. Rose has a list of bars and restaurants nearby, also. I hope you choose to stay at Rose's cabin and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as much as I did.

My Fiancé and I adored the shack! The scenery was absolutely beautiful. You could hear and see the river from the bedroom and porch! The outdoor bathtub was a lovely addition and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need and more. The space was so cozy and the location was close to Hot Springs and Mt Ida which was exactly what we were looking for. We would absolutely stay again.

Staying in the bell tent was comfortable. The whole place was peaceful and the ac kept the tent comfortable from the time we moved in (5:30 pm) until sun down, then the ac got the tent nice and cool. Beds were comfy, lightening bugs were out and several little kitties came to visit. It was fairly clean. The place is located on a small river so there are bugs. Some ants came in around the ac intake tube and my husband accidently stirred up a nest of wasps under a deck rail while looking for the source of the ants. The only negative was when the bed support rails fell off the bed frame when we laid down for the night about 11:45 pm. Luckily we had an Allen wrench and could tell how to properly assemble the bed frame. We fixed it and went back to bed. Reported the issue to the campgroud manager via text with pics so they could check it out before the next guests.

Absolute must. This cabin ,with direct creek access, is a true hidden gem. My husband, 7 year old and 2 year old had a great stay with all amenities we needed. Amanda was accommodating and was easy to work with.
The cabin was clean, fresh, and cute. The property was just enough for our two-night stay. We enjoyed exploring the creek, climbing the waterfall, swimming in the water-hole, having dinner of hotdogs and snores all by the campfire, chasing fireflies, and having breakfast creek-side, and spotting a fawn swimming in the creek.
It was truly the trip I didn’t know I needed. We plan on making this a yearly stop to the “cabin” along our way to family in Fayetteville every summer!
