Camp Miramichee Falls is located at the site of the original YWCA Camp Miramichee which was founded in 1916 as a retreat for girls. In 2019, my husband and I acquired and renovated some of the original Miramichee stone cabins. We are located on the Southfork River, in Hardy, Arkansas. We have 1 cabin on the river and 3 cabins a short walk from the river, up a wooded hillside, for rent here at Camp Miramichee Falls. There are a few other privately owned cabins in the neighborhood and we live on the property. In 2026, we acquired additional river waterfront for the use of all of our guests. We now have even more space for you to spread out and enjoy the river.

Our property also adjoins 1200 acres of the Mark Twain National Forest, dotted with springs, trails, rivers, lakes, ponds and breathtaking views. We have three small cabins on the property that are spaced out for privacy. Since then, it has regrown into hardwood forest, dotted with remnants of pine. It feels wild and untouched, despite knowing it's history. And within it, it harbors all manner of waterways, wildlife, plants, and fungi beyond your imagination. We love southern Missouri and hope you come catch a taste of the wildness that is the Forest. All the comforts of a hotel with all the beauty of camping! No need to pack a sleeping bag, the beds have pillows and blankets already. Fridge, freezer, microwave, and cheap ice made meals very easy. The porch has two chairs and a small table. There is a cigarette container for those who need it. The picnic table was in great shape and the firepit kept our coals warm enough that I only had to light our fire the first night and it stayed hot enough to cook our meals for the next day. The bathroom had hot running water, a shower, and a flush toilet. That was super handy for our kids in the middle of the night. AC and heat kept us comfortable at night, while the TV and DVD player were a nice break when rain came through. We enjoyed the playground and the walking trail.
Definetly consider this cabin for your next glamping trip! (Cabin 1 & 2 are two halves of the same building. Cabin 2 was empty during our trip. It would have been a bit too cozy if we had neighbors that close. For more privacy, choose Cabin 3, 4, the Squirrel Nest, or the Tackle Box.)

If you are looking for a beautiful campground with choices of cabins and primitive camping I highly recommend CRC! Not only was every person nice and hospitable, but they also recommended other sights to visit that was close by. My friends and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and so cutely decorated. The area was clean and everything neatly placed and in order. The river there is just beautiful. It was fun to fish and swim in. Ms.Lynn and Mr. Jay were very helpful and informative. They are super nice friendly people. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will return again.

Highly recommend!!! It was such a relaxing time. The views are absolutely beautiful, expesicially around sunset! The cabin was nice and clean! Easy to find! Amazing and down to earth hosts!!! Getting to be surround by nature and farm animals was just so peaceful. I enjoyed not having cell service and truly getting to take a step back and just enjoy life and time with my soulmate! Absolutely recommend and will be returning!
