This is a nice spot on a hill with a gentle slope that overlooks the beautiful plateaus of Petrified Forest National Park. Enjoy the stars from the comfort of your bed through a roof glass window. Cook outside on our outdoor cooking area and enjoy the fresh breeze. There is a convenient store located over the bridge, south of the Sun Valley exit off the 40 freeway. Very light local traffic. Sometimes you can expect wild horses, jack rabbits and cows at a safe distance. Also highway noise depending on direction of wind. Here you can enjoy amazing star gazing and shooting stars on a dark night with no or quarter moon. We have added lots more amenities than before. This is an adorable 10x10 non-insulated shed/cabin with one bunk bed, a sofa bed, refrigerator, Kurig coffee counter top machine with kitchenette cabinets with storage for dishes, pots and pans and utensils. You can also enjoy an indoor wood burning stove or a Portable Buddy heater and a two burner Coleman stove with propane tank (on request) , hot or cold running water indoor sink and outdoor shower. We provide a double cartridge toilet just outside in out house. Enjoy the outdoor patio area with hammocks, patio tables and chairs, two bonfire pits to pick from (when wind conditions are ideal) More pictures to come soon. Spencer was a super nice guy! He allowed us to do a late arrival. Area was very quiet & peaceful! He didn't have septic yet but is in the process of putting it in right now - looks close to done. The 50 amp and water hookups were great and very easy access to site. Woke up to stunning views! Thanks again Spencer, we'll be back!

Very easy to find. Close to Flagstaff stores if you needed supplies. Very quiet. Hosts were very helpful 50 amp power was available as well as water. Would definitely stop again.

Spencer and his wife were lovely hosts, they spent plenty of time telling me all about the area, etc.. I would recommend their camp space to anyone, and I would certainly stay there again if I were in the area..

2 nights at Milky Way Hip Camp

We just stumbled on Christina’s listing and so happy we did! The spot was so quiet and remote, no service unless you hike up the hills (which is what we wanted!), and the stars at night are gorgeous. Christina was really easy to talk to and great with directions. She was always available if we needed anything and informative of the area. Seemed like a genuine great person. Side note to campers, prepare for flies! They didn’t care about our food but just would not leave us alone unless we had reflectors up. Definitely no fault of the host, it’s just the area. A pretty minor thing though, would still highly recommend staying if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. And a great spot for dogs!

We loved tent camping on Christina's lamd, she was super helpful and showed us the layout even though we arrived late. Great open spot for tent/campfires/cooking and so much more. Easily accessible by vehicle, we drove in a RWD while towing a trailer and made it just fine. Super clear skies no light pollution. Will definitely be staying here when i pass through again!!

Christina’s land was nestled amongst a national forest. Plenty of room. She is just getting started and know she will continue to make improvements to make every stay even better than the last. Christina met us at the land and escorted us to our area. You could tell she loved the land and wanted to share it with others who would love it too.
