The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here! We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. This park offers rugged desert mountains, colorful canyons, and the Colorado River. Keep an eye out for beavertail cactus, wild burros, the famous bighorn sheep and thousands of migratory birds. Hike through the mountains to see great views from above. Dip your line in the Colorado River to catch your dinner. No Pop-up campers, Campervans, or Cars Pets are allowed. I am the 2nd lot in from the open desert! Its an open lot with hook ups for an RV, 5th wheel, camper. (The Google photo provided by Hipcamp is not accurate: there is no home on the lot). Hiking up to Telegraph Pass is 2 minutes! ATV trails are 50' from the property. We are in a 55+ area but short term families are welcome. The Colorado River and Martinez and Mittry Lakes are nearby for boating, fishing, and tubing. Lots of activities in downtown Yuma. Enjoy the beautiful winter weather and the gorgeous sunsets from a private lot.

Very well maintained gravel lot with plenty of space for an RV, or 4. Neighborhood is quite and easy to drive through. Loved the concrete patio and privacy lattice and materials for a sweet evening hang out. Everything worked great!

Very nice spot in a suburban neighborhood with a mix of homes and RVs. Felt very safe and quiet. The owners are very nice people with a wealth of information. Doggos are friendly but not pesky. Very close to several trails including Telegraph Pass. Would definitely stay here again.

Hosts allowed early arrival for available site during extreme heat day. My RV dash a/c minimally working and I needed out of the heat. I got a good night sleep and decided to extend my stay to get full rest before continuing on to the next stop. I will definitely return here upon my next stay in Yuma as it is my first choice...level lot, clean, quiet and peaceful.

We love staying on Shirley and Keith’s land. It’s wonderful to have full hookups in a nice quiet, safe, neighborhood with a private patio. This place is perfect if you are passing through or staying a while longer. Very safe place for families and though there are other sites on either side it is usually not a problem if someone is in them there is enough room for everyone to have their own space.

We had a great time, nice and relaxing, quiet and the neighbors around were very nice. Watching the golfers every morning was a blast! Very nice neighborhood we walked our dog in the evening and everyone was super friendly we felt very safe the whole time! Gorgeous sunset views right from the rv! Very well kept property! Joseph was very helpful with all questions and always responded quickly, we will definitely be back!

I spent 3 months boondocking in the desert and I needed a few days of civilization to get clean, shop, and make some repairs. This little RV park was perfect. Wonderful neighborhood. I enjoyed walking my dogs near the golf course and letting them run off-leash. I'll keep this place as one of my favorites. Highly recommend.

Loved this spot in the Foothills! It was a nice, quiet spot to explore the Yuma area. There are a total of four spots on the lot. Each spot has a concrete slab, privacy fence and access to the washing machine. The hosts are very responsive! We would definitely stay here again when we visit Yuma next!

Laura's lot is in a good location in the Fortuna Foothills. It is close to restaurants and shopping (Fry's, Walmart) about 10 minutes away. Yet the neighborhood is quiet, a good place for walking or riding a bike. There are some offroad trails to the east, north and west. Full hookups - had no problems. No barking dogs or chickens, minor Interstate traffic noise. Good views of the hills. Hosts were very helpful and nice.
