Convenient stop for the night or a few days for RV’s or Tent campers and a good place to get a hot shower -  only a easy mile a half from I-20 exit 173 ( Eastaboga - Talladega Superspeedway Exit ) also a good base camp to see Cheaha State Park - bike at Coldwater Mountain- see the Talladega Superspeedway , Combat Park Flea Market , Oxford ballgames or other area Activities - I reserve one RV site and two tent sites for hipcamp and rent the other five RV sites at the top of hill on a monthly basis - these hipcamp sites are wooded, shady with woods between the other sites to give some privacy while still not far from the unique showers made from the old chicken house feed bins -these  showers are very functional and I have been complimented that they are the best showers on the east coast

Bohamia has an upscale bathhouse with private, hot showers and individual toilet rooms with floor-to-ceiling doors. The bathhouse is within 100 yards of all glamps and RV sites.  We also have portalets stationed in the RV/Safari Tent area, at The Barn, and at the pond (0.4 miles from welcome center.)

Premium RV spots now available with 30 or 50 amp hookups and water. We do not have sewer hookups or a waste station.

With miles of trails on our property, easy access to the 392,000 acre Talladega National Forest, and less than ten miles from the Pinhoti trail, you’ll never run out of beautiful places to explore.  Be sure to save some time to enjoy the boulder strewn creek just a short walk from our welcome center - it’s a must see!

Other local attractions are also within reach with the Top Trails ATV park and the Talladega Marksmanship Park only seven miles away.

Argo’s Park & Trails

We are conveniently located 15 miles north of Birmingham AL and 2 miles off of Interstate 65. Our property is approx 21 acres of beautiful hardwoods and pine trees. The front 7 acres is a mixture of open and shaded areas. The back 14 acres consists of trails and roads you can explore. You won’t have any problems finding a place to hang a hammock and relax. There is always wildlife on the property. Come relax and enjoy the land for a few days or come sleep overnight in a safe environment.

This spot is not numbered. It is closer to the house and is where we entertain friends with larger bonfires. It has power to it and can have a water hose easily stretched to it. If you want to camp here just let me know when you book.

This is Sky. The pound gave her that name because of her blue eye. She is not blind. She'll greet you upon arrival and probably check on you throughout your stay. 

Hidden Branch Campground

Dark Hollow

Dark Hollow Park provides beautiful, private, and secure primative campsites. Potable water and a composting privey are available. The camp host is on site if there are any questions. There is a one-mile hiking trail, a small stream and waterfalls located a short hike down into Dark Hollow. The Hollow is rich in history. There is a small Amphitheater in the bottom of the hollow where permanent water remains year-round. Dark Hollow has played many roles from sanctuary to battleground over the years. There are numerous activities within a short distance.

A Place To Land

We have a small campground on our rural, 12 acre property located near Lake Logan Martin, a recreational lake outside Birmingham, AL. We have a total of 8 RV spots with 30 and 50 amp hooks ups, septic, water, trash and wifi. 1 spot is currently reserved for short-term guests. All lots face a small wood and get afternoon shade. We have a small pond, seasonal creek, a fire ring, and gas grill available for guests. Owner lives onsite.

Breath of Life Farm

The Dry Bones Live (Ezekiel 37).  
     The first visit in 2019 to this 21 acres was both a shock and a confirmation. It had everything on our check list and more - nearly flat land, convenient location, but also twice the acreage, a roadbed, diversity, Monarch butterflies everywhere, access to a big lake.....and it was littered with logs!!  They were in piles and scattered everywhere.  
     But this particular land was being placed in my hands to steward and to reveal the creativity and loving nature of Yahweh.   And that meant not bulldozing or burning the logs.  Instead, the task was to breathe life into the logs and the land through gentle stewardship to protect the biodiversity and build good soil.  Breath of Life Farm is being regeneratively developed to cultivate elderberries, vineyards, peaches, mushrooms, and small plantations of trees for wood or nuts.  
     My sister, Pam, and I hope that visitors will come to enjoy the seasonal changes of flower colors, watch for foot and hoof prints of wildlife, enjoy the songs of the birds and the frogs, see how many different native mushroom species they can spot, and be marveled by the stars as they sparkle in the dark night sky. 
     Our wish is that through the years, folks return to see the changes and  positive impact of regenerative farming practices.  To be a witness to the life breathed into this land.   We hope you will be inspired,  uplifted, strengthened, and energized by the story of Breath of Life Farm.

Our property borders a peaceful tributary that flows straight into the legendary Cahaba River—home to rare lilies, rich wildlife, and endless quiet moments. A short five‑minute stroll along a gentle trail takes you right to the river’s edge.

On site, you’ll find a stocked pond perfect for casting a line at sunrise or simply watching the water ripple at dusk. In season, you can wander through our blueberry bushes and enjoy picking a handful of fresh berries right from the land.

Evenings are made for gathering around our large communal fire pit—a centerpiece for stargazing, storytelling, and making s’mores under the Alabama night sky.

We’ve carved out shaded campsites and a dedicated RV parking area with full hookups, so whether you’re in a tent or a rig, you’ll have a comfortable home base. Wake up to birdsong, explore our private walking paths, and experience a little Alabama magic—just minutes from the Cahaba but a world away from the noise.

Coldwater Camp & Cabins

Coldwater Camp and Cabins in Anniston, AL is located directly on the Coldwater Mountain Bike trail system. Open in 2023, “The Camp” is a unique family-owned campground with several lodging options, including:

• 2 cabins/chalets

• 7 RV/van 30 amp hook ups

• 2 RV/van 50 amp hook ups

• 4 elevated tent deck sites

Two more cabins are under construction and expected to be ready by 2026. 

Campers that stay here can park, set up camp, and hop on Hare Trail via direct trail access just a few feet from your site. With 60 miles of single track for runners, hikers, and cyclists ranging from beginner to advanced, we think you’ll love it here.

Graveyard Homestead

1.3 acre property hidden in small town Glencoe, AL. Beautiful tall pines enclose this beautiful site in front of an old public cemetery plot that's rarely visited but has a pathway through the woods for exploring, a circle path we named Panther Path will lead you right back to camp. (The name Panther Path has a story. Basically keep an eye out for black panthers in these parts.) Our family and farm animals live on the property as well (Don't mind the rooster in the AM) but there's plenty of room to pitch a tent, bring your small camper or smaller skoolie (If rig is over 25 feet please message me after booking and we can figure out how to accommodate your rig best before arrival.) There is plenty of room for a couple tents as well if you are traveling as a group, amenities include: a brick fire circle, wood garden set for sitting with small table and some privacy from our family but a lot of privacy from the outside world, the graveyards are free to explore, but if you go in the gated one we ask that you relatch the gate. 

Firewood can be ready at your campsite for an additional cost. We have seasonal events as well as a farm stand, a bus shop, and a greenhouse. (These are still projects in progress.)

We have two dogs, Boogie - a male and a very large dog, LGD - Livestock Guardian Dog, her name is Maple. Both dogs are very nice and kind. Maple's job is to protect our ducks and chickens from predators. She will bark but she will not hurt you. She will especially love you if you have treats or say 'Hello, Maple!" We will try to have her put away before bookings if enough notice is given. She will not hurt a human, she knows her job and duty on our homestead but she can be nosy as she runs the perimeter of our property often.  If you have a fear of dogs or would like to make sure she is put up just send me a message beforehand and I will make sure she is put away secure. She also will not mind other dogs but please make sure if you bring a pet it is kind to other animals and we expect all pets are leashed at all times unless inside your rig.

Tent site, plenty of room for a bathroom tent the the left and space for a larger tent and plenty of trees around to bring your own hammocks. 

Fire pit and benches for campsite, wood provided for an extra cost. Feel free to use any twigs, sticks, wood laying around campsite to start fires.

Parking space to the right in between fire pit and tent site. Continuing to the left on foot will take you to the cemetery and around Panther Path.
