The front 7 acres is a mixture of open and shaded areas. The back 14 acres consists of trails and roads you can explore. You won’t have any problems finding a place to hang a hammock and relax. 300 acres of family land since 2000. This area was called Boot's Bottoms growing up and the name stuck. There is a rock wall close to the campsite that was a old grist mill site. Plenty of wildlife, bird watching, wildflowers and creek walking. Some old ATV trails for hiking as well. Very remote and quite!

A homestead occupied by my wife and I, Hipcampers ourselves, consisting of approximately three acres of beautiful property in a low lying bottom of the surrounding topography. Your spot does have privacy and seclusion but the neighboring dogs tend to bark at noises and not much we can do to keep that from happening. They are contained on their property and not aggressive. Only 2 miles from "Buckshot Speedway", dirt track fans can enjoy the ultimate weekend. Less than 30 minutes from Talladega National Forest making a great place for hunters. Campsites are approximately 40' x 40' allowing plenty of room for tents, overlanders, car or hammock camping. Extra amenities, depending on availability, at additional cost, such as towels, all natural bug deterrent body wash, all natural bug deterrent laundry detergent, firewood, fire pit, fire starters, bbq grill, etc. Additional options are subject to change and highly recommended to submit request ahead of arrival to help better assist you. We accept Venmo, Cashapp, Facebook Pay, and all major cards (4.0 % charge). Check in after 2:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 p.m. Early check in and late check out available for a small fee if available. This is an excellent, level, mulched campsite with electricity and water. Although there is no shade or bathhouse, the peaceful, serene surroundings contribute to one's satisfaction and equanimity. One has access to an excellent, outstanding fire ring complex with a protective gravel perimeter and a pic-nic table, all shaded. One has the company of chickens. One has easy access in and out of the property. One hears no highway noise as the interstate is about 10 miles away. Losing access to this opportunity means losing out on a treasure. Great spot with full hookups. As a solo female traveling with dogs I felt safe. Well located, Walmart is close by and Birmingham is about 25 miles away. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Great communication from both of them. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.
