Start your day communing with the local wildlife, while sipping coffee from the front porch or back deck. After a day of adventure, grill some dinner and eat alfresco at the picnic table or relax with cocktails around the firepit.
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a spacious walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom provides a king-size bed and a designated work desk/dressing table. The third bedroom offers 2 twin beds and is directly across from the second full bathroom. All linens and towels are provided.
The home has a well-stocked kitchen with a stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and a refrigerator big enough to camp in. Off the kitchen, there is a full-size washer and dryer and access to the large outdoor back deck. The deck overlooks the wooded lot and provides a small fenced area for your pooch.

We recently added an outdoor building with washer and dryer, bathroom/changing room, outdoor shower AND a hot tub that overlooks the lake. There is a public boat launch just down the road along with lakefront restaurants and boat rental establishments nearby. I truly enjoyed my time at the site. We got in super late, around 10pm, and still were able to find everything we needed for our stay. The host has thought of everything, providing simple instructions, rapid replies to questions/concerns, and has a handy assortment of site amenities that would make any experienced camper sigh in relief, and a newbies like us say "holy cow that's so smart!".

I absolutely loved our stay at Sarana. The hosts were so kind and generous, and they even let us stay in their RV when there was a thunderstorm one night. They have lots of equipment available, including a heater, fridge, fan, propane grill, and extension cables for use, as well as a fire pit. They have an extensive network of trails on the property, as well as lake access for swimming or hanging out. Sipsey wilderness and Bankhead National Forest are about 30-45 minutes away, so we had easy access to hiking and recreation activities when we weren't hanging out on the property. We loved our stay, and plan on coming back. If you are in the area and interested in meeting some of the loveliest hosts, you should definitely camp at Sarana!

My two night stay in #3 was just what I needed while in the area. Sites are all pretty private in that you have some distance. More great sites are further down the farm road and in the forest. There was some traffic from the local airport and a little noise from houses nearby, but nothing too much. Pinned to Favorites.
