We are a small Homestead in Parrish, Alabama. We have lots of silkie and large chickens as well as 8 nigerian dawrf goats and two adorable mini cows. All of the animals are friendly and enjoy being pet. We have a large fire pit in the back property for campfires and fun as well as a composting outhouse for guest use. Come pet the animals and have a nice campfire while looking up at the stars!

I don't usually select RV parks on Hipcamp but there were few options in the area and this one looked pretty good and I needed electric hookup due to the cold weather. This turned out to be a good spot. There was only one other camper there so I was very quiet. Clubhouse and bathrooms are a nice plus. The bathrooms were heated and spotless.

This was our 2nd time staying at Sunset and it did Not disappoint!! We had so much fun with all of the animals and checking out the gardens! Crystal and her husband are the most wonderful hosts! 100% recommend!

Very few RV Parks betweenTupelo and Birmingham so Matt's camp is a good location. And only a couple of miles off the interstate. Nice secluded, quiet, and shaded area. Clean bathhouse. We will stay there again if our travels take us that way.

There was a lot of highway noise, but we stopped there because it was near the highway route we were taking. So that was fine. Lots of trees. Clean bathroom/shower.

Tent camping at Crystal’s beautiful little farm was just right for me as a woman traveling alone. The camping area was very private and at the back of the property but felt safe and secure because Crystal and her charming husband live at the front of the property and anyone coming in has to pass right close to their house. Mr Crystal patiently guided me to a trail for hiking behind the property and I had a short hike through some stunningly beautiful woods and meadows before sundown. Sunset was gorgeous. I could see it through the trees from my tent. Kids will definitely enjoy the friendly and adorable animals.

We had a great stay and the owner’s hospitality was great. The sight was big and easy to get in and out of. This campground was in an easy accessible place out in the countryside. The bath rooms and laundry room were clean and beautifully decorated very impressive

Sunset Hill Farm was great - exactly as advertised! The hosts were very nice, informative, and accommodating. All the animals were interactive and the field provided for camping is large, set back away from the main house/off the road, and has a huge fire pit. 10/10 would definitely camp there again/recommend others camp there!

Stopped in for a night driving cross country in our 36’ class A. This was an awesome option! Super easy to find, clear instructions and communication from host, clean restrooms/showers. I would definitely recommend this place as a great option for a road trip stop! Heated bathrooms and long supply of hot water were a pleasant surprise during the winter :)
Others mention the highway noise, and though you can definitely hear it (it’s so close, which was a huge plus for us), we did not find it distributive at all.
Overall, this spot is cheaper and much more lovely than other right-off-the-highway spots! Go on and book it, I say!

Sprinter 170. Great spot with convenient access from exit. Thought we would hear the freeway noise but it was dead quiet. Wifi signal was pretty weak at our spot but we were located towards the end of the sites near the tent sites. Note: Could not get our Starlink to connect with internet because of obstructions (trees), but no internet is not a deal breaker for us. Would definitely stay again!
