We really enjoyed our stay at Kodys land, well maintained, climate controlled bath house with laundry and sink available. Full hook ups with a gated entrance. The site is very centrally located to anything you may want to do from beach activities to shopping and eating. Publix withing walking distance and Walmart and Target just a few miles down the road. There are tics so make sure and bring some repellent, helicopters do make frequent and repeated night touch and go I'm assuming training exercises but wasn't a bother we enjoyed it honestly. Kody was quick to respond with any questions we had. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Had a great time this weekend at Travel Downs. Plenty of room for the kids and dog to roam, gated with fire pit. Best part was the seclusion and we cant for get the air conditioned bath house with washer and dryer. About 20min to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Kody's place was great and he is quick to respond. Private, clean and easily accessible. Having the bathroom/ laundry was a game changer for us, as we're in a 12' square drop.
The available firewood while we were there is cut pine logs that need to be spit with the provided Ax. It didn't burn well so we opted to supplement with bundles from Tractor Supply Co. just down the street.
Two of the four nights we stayed, helicopters practiced touch and go's at the private airport next-door. This went on for a couple of hours just after dark; however, This wouldn't deter us from staying again.

Kody’s campsite was just as described! Beautiful location and privacy. The shed with the toilet, shower, washer, dryer and laundry sink on-site….was exceptional! Winn-Dixie and Ace Hardware close. Beaches 8 miles away as well as 3 state parks near/on Perdido Key. Downtown Pensacola/Pensacola Beach also 8-10 miles away! Joe Patti’s Seafood Market is an adventure onto itself! Kody is a great host and I would highly recommend Travel Downs! You can tell he put a lot of thought into his campsite!

We've stayed for a Thanksgiving week and it was amazing! So much space for our dogs to run and really close to town. We've had bonfire every night and our mornings were calm and slow.
There are few things worth mentioning:
1) Sunday/Monday night (2am ish) there was a lot of noise that woke us up, very nearby, coming from what we figured was a big truck backing out and forward and moving/dumping some metal stuff...lots of scraping/screeching noises, lots of beeping and truck noises that lasted about an hour. You can hear cars from the road nearby but this was happening in the middle of the night, probably at the lot next door.
2) TICKS! if you have dogs (we had 6 with us), bring a lots of tick prevention/protection. The amount we picked up from our dogs was gross
3) the shower/bathroom shed was a big help with hot water and flushing toilet 😂 (if you camp mostly offgrid like us, having that is a luxury). It would be even better if there were some hooks on the wall/door to hang your towel/clothes.
It was a great stay and we would definitely come again! Thank you for having us!
