Our dome was great! My daughter and dog both loved the little hiking trail near the creek, and the setting was perfect. The view from our dome was beautiful, and we’re looking forward to visiting again in warmer weather to enjoy some creek play. Kara and John were kind and welcoming and they have clearly put thought and love into the whole place.

Weekend Trip to Rock Creek Retreat & Ventures
Amazing experience! Our first time trying out dome camping and this was the perfect place to do it. Very peaceful and great location. Communication was very smooth and she answered any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Nice stay. Area has been super dry so the mud holes were not as challenging. We have started putting caution tape up across the road to deter the locals from visiting the site while we are there- and it has worked well the last 2 trips. The only visitor we had this trip was a very friendly dog that spent the day with us.

Kara was an amazing host. It was my wife and I's first time glamping. Our 2 dogs enjoyed it a lot as well. The little one wouldn't calm down until I took her to the creek. We'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

This was our 3rd or 4th trip to the site. It's a beautiful location and the road in is an (unmarked and unlabeled) adventure. I would ignore Chelsea H's advice- she clearly knows how to drive her 2wd CRV! We had a lifted Tundra in our group that took on so much mud it did an alternator on the way home and we had to have it towed....

This camping experience was unlike any other! Kara and her team have done such a beautiful job creating a space that exudes tranquility and ease. The dome itself is amazing, truly set up with everything you need - bed, tables, power bank (more than ample, we charged things the whole 2.5 day trip and only use 50%), games, blackstone (CLUTCH - grill tools provided, just bring food), lamp, drip coffee maker (not k cup), climate control options (ac fan, top exhaust fan, heater, we were very comfortable in the 40°-70° temp ranges). And don’t even get me started on how wonderful the hot shower is! Toilet is easy to use, nice privacy, and there’s a hand sink!! Our site had a wonderful view of the creek, which we did venture down to in the afternoon - lots of rocks, bring solid water shoes! The space is lit up nicely at night time with the solar lights. The only “downside” if there is one is the hill we had to traverse to unload and load the car, but with some ingenuity and leg power, not too bad. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem, and suspect Kara will be fully booked up in no time! Get it if you can 👍👍

What a magical vacation! If you’re looking for a truly unique glamping experience this is the place! The geodome was so clean and tidy. It had everything we needed plus a nice hot shower.
You truly cant beat a campfire overlooking a beautiful creek! Don’t forget to checkout the lit up trail to have an adventure under the stars. Kara was a kind and excellent host that made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back!

The drive to the site was a fun little adventure—definitely muddy and rutted, but totally expected with the recent rain. We made it just fine in a 2WD Honda CR-V; just gotta know how to drive 😎.
Once there, the views were absolutely incredible! We cooked up steak and potatoes, made s'mores by the fire, and just soaked it all in. Heard a bobcat overnight, which was wild, but nothing came close to camp. There was plenty of brush and dead limbs around for firewood, and the fire area even had stones already set up.
We brought along our 6-month-old pup and camped with a tent and hammock—had the best time. Cozy, scenic, and just enough wilderness to feel like a real escape.
Highly recommend if you’re up for a bit of rugged fun!

This a beautiful location. We love camping here. The drive in is an adventure, but that's part of the fun for us! Our only complaint was the ATV that drove through our campsite at midnight. I wish there was some attempt at securing the site for paying guests. Even a yellow plastic chain that indicated the site was rented/ private.

It’s a beautiful spot, but there are a couple of concerns with getting to the location. First the host was great and communicated well. I read on some other reviews the trail was narrow and 4wd was needed. Not a problem for me on the 4wd part, but my truck is wider than a jeep or Toyota, so I asked the host if I’d be able to get through. She responded, and said she thought I would be able to but there were some tight spots and the sneak around for the mud puddles was mainly where it got narrow. 15 feet into the trail is a long deep mud hole, with a sneak around that’s ver tight. I made it through the sneak around as I could see tires sticking up in the mud hole so was worried about what else I might find going through it. I scraped on my rock sliders against a tree making the sneak around, no big deal. The rest of the way bag to the campsite was a combination of mud holes and narrow sneak arounds. I mostly just hit the mud holes with a little momentum and my differential locked and although the holes were pretty soft, I made it through no problem. The site itself was large and mostly flat. It was quiet and nice. Would definitely go again. The cows and dogs below the site stop making noise shortly after dark.
