Bohamia - Glamp/RV/Camp

Bohamia is a glamping and campground destination in Alabama near Talladega National Forest, offering luxury glamping tents, RV sites, and primitive camping on a large private forested property. It is designed for families, couples, and small groups seeking a nature-forward outdoor experience with modern comforts.

Join us for glamping with luxury beds and private decks, primitive camping in picturesque sites, and RV spots with power and water.

Bohamia has an upscale bathhouse with private, hot showers and individual toilet rooms with floor-to-ceiling doors. The bathhouse is within 100 yards of all glamps and RV sites.  We also have portalets stationed in the RV/Safari Tent area, at The Barn, and at the pond (0.4 miles from welcome center.)

Premium RV spots now available with 30 or 50 amp hookups and water. We do not have sewer hookups or a waste station.

Glamp, RV or camp amidst the natural beauty of our 268 acre property; we have open fields, shady spots beneath the hardwoods and pines, and even a five acre pond with plenty of fish if you’d prefer to wake up to a water view or take a morning swim.

With miles of trails on our property, easy access to the 392,000 acre Talladega National Forest, and less than ten miles from the Pinhoti trail, you’ll never run out of beautiful places to explore.  Be sure to save some time to enjoy the boulder strewn creek just a short walk from our welcome center - it’s a must see!

Other local attractions are also within reach with the Top Trails ATV park and the Talladega Marksmanship Park only seven miles away.

Upscale Bathhouse beside Glamp and RV Sites with private restrooms and endless hot showers!  Pond campsites are .4 miles away but have porta potties.

If they gave awards for bath houses this one would have a gold medal. We put a LOT of time and thought into making your experience at Bohamia special.

Nice, quiet, rural setting campsite with 20' Motorhome with loft, available for rent @ $100/night. Motorhome sleeps 4, has electric and sewer. Area for campfire site with seating. Access to stocked pond, catch and release only. Enclosed patio area available soon.

Coldwater Camp & Cabins

Coldwater Camp and Cabins in Anniston, AL is located directly on the Coldwater Mountain Bike trail system. Open in 2023, “The Camp” is a unique family-owned campground with several lodging options, including:

• 2 cabins/chalets

• 7 RV/van 30 amp hook ups

• 2 RV/van 50 amp hook ups

• 4 elevated tent deck sites

Two more cabins are under construction and expected to be ready by 2026. 

Campers that stay here can park, set up camp, and hop on Hare Trail via direct trail access just a few feet from your site. With 60 miles of single track for runners, hikers, and cyclists ranging from beginner to advanced, we think you’ll love it here.

Cheaha Hideaway

Cheaha Hideaway LLC Campground offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our 44-acre property is surrounded by towering trees. We are a small campground with views of the Cheaha Mountain. We currently have 3 glamping tent sites and an Airstream rental.  Each glamping tent has its own deck for you to enjoy the views and wildlife. Enjoy our clean climate controlled bathhouse. We are a family focused campground.

Parksland Retreat is a 40 acre forest and nature retreat with off grid facilities and homestead all surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Parksland is in the heart of Talladega National Forest. Come for a hike on the trails on property, nearby Pinhoti trail or swim in the beautiful creek.

Be advised! The bridge located on Berney Station Road over Dry Creek (just West of the turn onto Germany Mountain Rd) is going to be replaced. This section of the roadway will be closed beginning March 3rd and will be closed for approximately&nbsp; one year.

Choccolocco Creek Campground

Convenient stop for the night or a few days for RV’s or Tent campers and a good place to get a hot shower -  only a easy mile a half from I-20 exit 173 ( Eastaboga - Talladega Superspeedway Exit ) also a good base camp to see Cheaha State Park - bike at Coldwater Mountain- see the Talladega Superspeedway , Combat Park Flea Market , Oxford ballgames or other area Activities - I reserve one RV site and two tent sites for hipcamp and rent the other five RV sites at the top of hill on a monthly basis - these hipcamp sites are wooded, shady with woods between the other sites to give some privacy while still not far from the unique showers made from the old chicken house feed bins -these  showers are very functional and I have been complimented that they are the best showers on the east coast
