Property is on the Yellowstone river, with private fire pit. You can fish, kayak and raft right to campsite. There are two fishing access to launch your kayak or raft nearby. Walking distance to restaurants and brewery. Electricity, potable water available and a porta potty are available on site. Site is right off Highway 78. I do live on this property if you should need anything. There is noise from Highway 78 and the trains. This is in a natural setting and has the season extends the grass becomes dry and the river lower

Enjoy the peaceful Ness of just being in the country. Quiet we are 37 miles to Cody wyoming, 25 miles to Red Lodge both have entrances to the Yellowstone park.

42 acres just a few miles north of Cody Wy, Rodeo Capital of the World, home to world renowned Buffalo Bill Center of the West and 55 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Tent or RV sites along the hayfield. Cows are gone in the summer, but there are Llama//alpacas, chickens, horses, dogs and a cat. Great star watching at night. Occasional Aurora Borealis and falling/shooting stars. The property backs up to a State section of 640 acres for short hikes. I have one site #4 that has water and electric, no septic, There is a hydrant available for water. Please be reasonable, if you need to fill up a large amount please let me know. I now have a PortaPotty on site. I have a shed with electricity if you need to charge cell phones etc, This is my second summer with Hipcamp. I am flexible, please communicate if you have different requirements or needs. If you have a bigger group, reach out. I now have firewood available. Please plan to arrive before 7 PM. It takes longer to get here than you think.

Aug 31, 2026 - Wildfire smoke has been negligible for over a week, with views out to 75 miles (subject to sudden change). Peaceful and quiet surrounded by lots of wildflowers, wildlife, and the pleasant aroma of sagebrush. Parking area is reasonably flat. Remote subdivision on a 4500-foot ridge, 10 miles from Columbus exit 408, off of Interstate 90. Your camping spot is near the road for easy access, but the road is private and dead-ends just beyond my property, so traffic is very minimal. I aim to treat all my guests as if you were a long-time friend. I try to be your personal concierge, so anything you need or want to know, just ask. Unless a highway, rural roads in the area, like mine, are usually gravel. Although well-maintained, the road does get some washboarding due to heavy use. Being on a ridge, a thunderstorm or weather front can make the site quite windy. You will be in the open, without shade or direct privacy, but the tradeoff is really great views.

It is a peaceful, quiet 23 acres but located only minutes from downtown Red Lodge. This can be your base camp to explore beartooth pass and Yellowstone National Park....but back at camp you have mountain views and bubbling creeks right by your campsite. We do have cell phone service, as well, which can be tricky to find while dispersed camping in the area. Hiking, biking, fishing are all quick access.
