Black Mountain Lookout

A fresh perspective does the heart solid.

If you’re feeling flush, book the Black Mountain Lookout cabin. Built in 1932 by the Civilian Conservation Corps the Black Mountain Lookout is a single story 10-foot tower that offers stunning views of Honey Lake to the north and Last Chance Creek to the south. Keep a lookout for bald eagles and other wildlife in the area, bring up to eight friends and all the food and water you’ll need. Super-mega-extra bonus: no other neighbors and the some of the best stargazing ever. Period.
