Welcome to Fitz Farm Manor — a peaceful countryside retreat built with love and care. After Gerry and his dad sold their garden centre and nursery, we built this home and raised our four boys here (they like to joke they were our first Airbnb guests — the non-paying kind!). Now retired, Gerry from lawn care and Rosemary from managing a seniors’ complex, we spend our days gardening, harvesting vegetables, and preserving the bounty of our land. We love hosting friends and family, and you might meet a few during your stay. Our property is nestled in a quiet rural area where mornings begin with birdsong and evenings settle into the gentle chorus of crickets and tree frogs. A walk down our peaceful road takes you past dairy farms and fields of corn, soybeans, and hay — often without passing a single car. The grounds are designed for gathering and relaxation. Each summer, we host family reunions and church picnics with up to 75 guests enjoying the heated pool, hammocks, patio, and spacious lawn. Campers have access to a large grassy area bordered by maples, oaks, and a wooded stretch to the west — perfect for pitching tents or parking campers. Amenities include: - Heated swimming pool with pool toys - Washroom with hot/cold water and shower (just inside the patio doors) - Outdoor sink with potable water - Tables, chairs, picnic tables, and a barbecue - Children’s slide and a hammock structure that holds up to 8 hammocks Whether you're here for a relaxing getaway or a work assignment, we hope you’ll feel the warmth and welcome of Fitz Farm Manor. Such a beautiful property, with gardens, the pool and surrounding private areas. Gerry was so kind, welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Highly recommended!!

Fitz Farm Manor Campsites
I stayed at the Fitz Farm Manor for 2 nights. The hosts Gerry & Rosemary were very hospitable. The campsite area was flat and I had a choice of were to set up. The grounds were lovely with interesting flowers and plants. The barbeque came equipped with gas and utensils as was the outdoor sink with wash cloth, scrubbers and soap. Washroom was well equipped as well. I can't think of a thing that the hosts didn't think about. They covered everything. My boyfriend was up for one night. We had a great time! Thank you hosts! Well done!

This farm camp site is a hidden gem. The field is very flat and the scenery is really pleasing to both the eye and mind. There are beautiful flowers, home-grow vegetables such as tomato, squash etc. My children and I enjoyed the heated swimming pool very much, we played badminton and rested in the hammock, it was very relaxed camp experience. More importantly, this camp field only provides 3 camp sites, very quite and peaceful, which you don’t get to see huge crowds of people like in the park. It was quite enough for my special need child to stay calm and not be disturbed . The host Gary’s family also generously provide fridge and BBQ stove to the campers who are in need. My family and the family who camped next to us both like the Gary’s farm camp field so much that we decided to extend our stay from 2 nights to 3 nights! Highly recommended!

Merveilleuse place pour du camping en famille! Très calme, paisible, propre. Les hôtes sont adorables, c'est certain que l'on y retournera si on repasse dans la région.

We missed going out camping and most of the provincial parks are booked. When we arrived Gerry was there to welcome us and showed us the amenities. The kids enjoyed the pool and were swimming every day there are a lot of things to do. When the kids needed some break we went to the Hewitt's Dairy Bar which is minutes away. Gerry and Rose were very friendly and accomodating, they always check if we are ok or if we needed anything. Thank you Gerry and Rose for making our stay a memorable one.

Great place. My husband, family and I really enjoyed ourselves. We had a glamping tent and even though the weather was gross one day we had two swimming days and enjoyed the playground and slide on the other. Gerry and his family are very friendly, accomadating and great hosts!

It was our first time camping here in canada and this place didn’t disappoint us. Very friendly owner Gerry. The place is superb. The place is like combo pack, swimming pool badminton and other sports you can play, the garden, and etc. So in love and even my husband super like the place and will come back very soon.
