Backforty Campground has 70 acres to enjoy wildlife.,hike, kayak a creek, and fish. Very peaceful place we have 5 full hookups. We all also have a small cabin on the property that we do nightly rentals. We are about 45 minutes from Chattanooga Tennessee about 25 minutes from Cloudland Canyon on lookout Mountain.

Very quiet. Nicely laid out spots. Turkeys, bats, armadillos and deer in the field across the road. Great kayak put in along the creek/river.

My wife and I absolutely love this site. Very affordable, site was clean and and as advertised. We really enjoyed ourselves and we will be revisiting.

Background Forty Campground was a wonderful spot! The site was very well- maintained, private and tranquil. All sites were level with easy access to hook-ups. We will definitely stay again!

Great site, quiet, lovely.

Site 3 - Background Forty Campground
Great site—quiet, and had everything we needed. Specific notes on finding the place would be helpful. GPS directions were inaccurate. Look for the upright kayak and turn there. We followed GPS (went past the turn), ended up on someone’s property, and had to turn around with a camper.
