Beautiful spot, quiet, private, and perfect as a base camp for a long weekend visiting family in Appleton. Our first time using Hipcamp, and everything exceeded our expectations.

It was great for what we needed! We were in the area to turkey hunt and mostly just needed a place to sleep at night. Would have been fun to be there later in the summer to see all of the gardens blooming!

Stayed there in two separate reservations, one night a piece. Great place to stay.
Have Verizon and had 2 bars of strength and was able to hotspot my pc off my phone to get some work done. Not too bad!!
Great place to stay.

Nice Remote Campsite!!
Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights at this location. The area she had me camp was level and easy to get to. I cooked my meals on the campfire put and that was fantastic.
If you love kitties, you will find her kitty Mango to be a real charmer. He visited me both days and mewed the whole time we interacted.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The host provided warm follow-up, great instructions and we loved the property / amenities that were provided.
Private, room to roam around and walk the dogs. We enjoyed the pine trees, birds, stars and fire pit. We had a great time and we are looking forward to our next visit.

I booked the stay 30 minutes before I arrived. Maria was friendly and welcoming for a last minute guest. She even gave me all natural insect repellent to battle those pesky mosquitos. The electric and water were easy to access. I had trouble accessing the WiFi, though.
The campsite is level gravel, and there was a lovely campfire area with Adirondack chairs, a table and stone fire pit area. I enjoyed my evening with a few glasses of local wine in this quiet, private oasis.

Amazing! This place is adorable and a perfect stay for our wolf river tubing trip. I got a wonderful tour from the very knowledgeable hosts. It was so quiet and peaceful at night and the stars were beautiful. It was still close to anything we needed but still had a camping relaxed feel. And the host was very accommodating! Will hopefully get to back next year!
