Camping among the trees and cows!

I’d absolutely recommend camping here! I already can’t wait to come back. The privacy at site 2 was beyond anything we could ask for. Peace a quiet with only sounds of nature, cows and Mr Rooster lol. It was the most relaxing camping I’ve ever experienced. My boyfriend would like to keep this site a secret because it’s so amazing. lol. No joke. He says 0/10 recommended in hopes we will always have more access lmao. But in reality 1000/10 is truthful. Rachel texts us right away in the morning to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. Even Had all the essentials we could’ve used in case we needed it. Will absolutely be telling our camping friends about her property. And the cows of course 🤩

A taste of the country

I spent a lot of my childhood growing up on friends farms, and my stay at Rachel’s family farm brought back so many happy memories! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of staying in the camper on the farm! Our daily visits from Flower and Peanutbutter was a treat for us! They are Rachael’s goats that roam the farm. We loved feeding them our vegetable scraps. The camper was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend stay, and if it did not, Rachel was very accommodating. I definitely look forward to returning to the simplicity of the farm, and highly recommend it for those with a heart for the simple country life! Thank you Rachel!

Secluded River Site

Beautiful site and Rachel is an amazing host. We had an issue with the porta potty and she was out the next morning to resolve it herself. My dogs enjoyed running free in around thr river. The directions the host gave to the property were spot on. I just threw a pin where she said it was located and Google maps pretty much took me right there. Thank you for being so accommodating and responsive!

Magical experience!

This place is absolutely MAGICAL ❤️✨🌈 Rachel is sparkly and full of joy and a delight as a host. The kids loved her too. They spent countless hours playing with the animals, climbing the hay bales and running around the property. Every want and need was met with a smile and responded to quickly. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back, hopefully for longer next time!

Camper in the sun no shade

I am not here to bash anyone but… it wasn’t for me. I would not recommend this place personally. The host was nice in person but the camper was not what it should be. I really love Wisconsin and I was really excited to go to this camper but when I looked around upon arrival I noticed a lot I didn’t like. I am not here to bash but people will look at things. I did. I didn’t request bedding and when I walked in there was bedding on two beds but it wasn’t like it was made it looked like it was used from prior campers. I brought my own bedding. The toilet wasn’t cleaned and it wasn’t yellow droplets I saw it was something else. I know it’s in the middle of the country on a farm but LOTS of dead bugs throughout the camper. I looked through drawers and around the camper and saw quite a few. This was on arrival, and I only stayed five minutes. I have heard campers can get rodents and to make sure I put a flashlight on my phone and checked around and saw droppings around the bed in the cupboards around the bed and in the kitchen drawers. When I was leaving the landing below the camper had weak wood and actually broke. I am not the smallest woman but I am not the biggest either and to me that’s a safety issue. Also, if there are rodents that is also a safety issue. I had three young kids with me.

Wonderful camping spot on the river! One of our favorite Hipcamp spots ever and very dog friendly! Host is very responsive, please note Hipcamp directions lead you to their farm rather than the campsite. Check out Gills on the Wolf restaurant for great food and outdoor, dog friendly seating. We’ll be back!

Charm farm

We had the most epic family vacation at Rachel’s farm. The campsite offers an amazing amount of privacy and charm, yet you still have the convenience of a Walmart just ten minutes away. We stayed in "The Family Camper". The camper itself easily and comfortably sleeps six people (kids bunkbed, full size couch, and queen bed), there is plenty of space if you want to pitch tents as well. Rachel went entirely above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for us rather than just a place to camp. She is an absolute kid magnet and set up so much fun stuff for them to do, although that was not expected. We brought three kids between the ages of five and fifteen. My nephew is autistic, has always dreamed of staying in an RV and riding a tractor, and he got to do both! She also gave us fantastic local recommendations. We ended up going tubing based on her advice, which was a quick ten minute drive from the farm. We made so many core memories here. The kids love the property and especially Ms. Rachel. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, hospitable getaway.

Overall, we had a good experience - we enjoyed exploring the farm and playing with the various animals there. However, it was a bit disappointing that we were unable to use many of the promised amenities. Such as running water not being on until halfway through the trip, finding a mouse nest in the oven, and kitchen appliances not working. Again, it was a very fun and memorable trip, just wish that the camper was checked for functionality and cleanliness beforehand.

Had a such an amazing weekend!! Rachel was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. The campsite was very private and secluded. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature and wildlife and woke up to the sounds of roosters and cows in the morning. Felt like we were in a far away place with no distractions. We visited the for an afternoon and the kids had a blast with the cows, goats and baby kittens. Did a lot of exploring and fishing in the nearby streams and also some swimming at bear lake which was only 8 miles away. Incredible experience and definitely made memories we will always remember. Can’t wait to come back!!!!

The farm was cool lots of freedom to explore if you want to or you can just chill in the camper. Great atmosphere, fun to pet the goats and the found kittens were adorable. Cool place to have a camp fire too.

Best trip ever!

We were blown away by how amazing rachel and her land is. The site was easy enough to get to and very secluded. We got to see all the animals and pet the baby kittens. Rachel is an amazing human who has so much passion for what she does. This is by far our favorite hip camp to date! There is so much to do and all within 15 min from the site. I can not thank her enough for everything. Also the meat is phenomenal, I dont think I could eat store bought beef after having hers. Overall such an amazing trip and we will for sure be back soon!

Perfect Dispersed/Rustic Campsite!

Site 3 - Old Pines Site

What a gem! The property is absolutely beautiful — tall pines, peaceful pasture views, and a little waterway that makes it feel completely removed from the world. The site is secluded and private, exactly what we were looking for. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking to truly unplug and get out into nature, this is the place. Already thinking about coming back.

Friendly owners and great spots! Stayed at camp Twenty and it was amazing. Very private and very picturesque! The sites are a good distance away from each other and this site was a ten minute drive from the main farm. Very nice!

We stayed on camp site one. Absolutely beautiful over looking the open fields where there were cows off in the pasture. The land was vast and extremely gorgeous. The site was nestied just in side the wooded area but the opening allow for sun light and star gazing. Rachel and her boys were so polite and accomidating. We were invited to the farm however did not make it over there. The sun flower feild was beautiful and we were able to pick as many as we wanted. The local towns offered plenty do with a lot of small town charm. Definitely would go back and camp here in the future.

Rachel has a beautiful spot on the river. it's very secluded and private. We hate to leave every time. She was available if we had any questions, concerns, or needed help. She was knowledgeable about the area and told us about things that were going on. We can't wait to visit again.
