Nestled in the valley of a thousand hills, Strath Creek Station is your ideal quick getaway, being only a 1 1/2-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. Situated on 90 acres with direct access to the King Parrot Creek, we are dog-friendly and have a large secure dog park for your pooch to exercise and play, but dogs must be on lead in camping areas. Sites are large and dispersed and can have up to 12 people, tents, camper trailers, caravans and RV suitable. 2wd vehicle accessible (weather dependent). So if you have a large group make one booking for 12 people. There is a large flat camping area that can accommodate any size self contained caravan, RV, including fifth wheelers or horse goosenecks. A large rustic rotunda with BBQs is available for those lazy afternoons spent relaxing by the creek. You are welcome to contact us to discuss your needs or ask any questions.Bring your self contained camping vehicle (with greywater tanks if you can’t contain grey water please ask us for a grey water collection container we are happy to help you out ) and camp with security and peace of mind for yourself and your pooch. We have a large fully fenced off lead dog play area where you can let your pet run around & chase the ball & also with seating to watch them play . Enjoy easy access to the King Parrot Creek and take advantage of shelter in the large rustic rotunda with a BBQ and firebox. Strictly NO chemical or soaps to be used in or around the creek for example washing dishes, people bathing in the creek with soap. Our priority is to preserve our beautiful water ways and surrounding areas. If you wish to book a larger groups just book out the sites per head until full then book the next site & do the same , that way we will move the camp sites so you are all together. There's plenty of room for the kids to run and play, along with a large, secure off-lead dog park. Explore the region with hiking, bike trails, and wetlands. We also now have available local organic produce fruit ,nuts ,berry's, jams, just over the road & they make beautiful honey, free range eggs and kimmys beautiful home made bread. just preorder what you like and we can have it here ready on your arrival

Such a beautiful camping experience on an open plot of land owned by Kim and Glen. Clean toilet and plenty of space for my 2 year old to run about and dog to play fetch. Kim was a beautiful person to talk with and the morning check in was lovely . Thanks again Kim and Glen. We will definetly be back again .

We loved our stay! The large grassy sites along the creek were beautiful and so peaceful. The firepit, fresh sourdough from Kim, and our own super-clean toilet made the whole weekend feel easy and wholesome. The sites are well spaced out with plenty of room and privacy. We’ll definitely be back!

The scenery at this Hipcamp is breathtaking combined with the immaculately kept farm ensures an enjoyable stay Hosts were very responsive and supportive during my 4 day stay. The portaloo supplied was clean and well maintained. Very peaceful as sites spread out. Weber kettles for cooking and fires. Overall a great stay

We had an excellent two nights camping at Strath Creek Station. Great property, beautiful views, grassy camp site, fire drum, creek nearby for fishing, and our own porta loo too. Well done to the hosts for creating this place. My son says we have to come back.

Kim and Glens property is amazing just 1.5 hours from Melbourne makes it perfect for a long weekend away. The farm is immaculately kept with sensational green paddocks in front of the pretty creak perfect for a quick dip, our oodles loved it. Along with the great views and location the facilities are great with plenty of toilets, bbq/fire pits and large open pavilions if the weather is a little grey. I can’t recommend this place enough it’s our 3rd Hipcamp I would say it’s been the best so far.

The Hipcamp “best in vic” contender and multiple positive reviews are deserved. This slice of paradise is near Melbourne, quiet, peaceful and stunning. Topping it off is the reasonable prices and wonderfully accomodating owners. Sites 1-3 are in a paddock near the games and bbq rotunda, the rest are dotted around the property. All have toilet facilities. We were on site 5 and had the most restful weekend in a long time. Broadford and Yea are a short drive away but I would happily spend days at camp enjoying the bush, river and local bird life. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Glen and Kim was very friendly, the views were beautiful, instruction was clear , enough space between campers for privacy and noisemakers. Portable toilets always clean, the community entertainment areas were tidy. Great environment for tents,RV camping.

Stayed on site 1 in our caravan. Absolutely beautiful surroundings, peaceful and very big site with plenty of room not too close to other campers. We left earlier than we wanted due to the storm that was coming through but will definitely go back in Summer. Kim’s sour dough was delicious :)

Glen and Kim are absolutely fabulous hosts and provided our group with the most incredible place to camp. The property is so well set up, and a fabulous place to have dogs as well with a wonderful enclosed area to let them run. Glen and Kim were so easy to communicate with and so generous and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend, thank you so much for a fabulous stay Glen and Kim 😊

This is easily one of the best Hip Camps in Victoria. Upon arrival I was greeted by Kim and followed her to my designated site alongside the creek. Each site has a firepit and greywater collection bucket. It was a bonus to have my own spotlessly-clean portaloo, too. The sites are large and spaced far apart, I barely saw my neighbours all weekend. Glen drove by in the morning to check if I needed any firewood. I definitely plan to return here in future.

We absolutely loved our time here. Our campsite was beautiful — spacious, flat, and set right on the creek which made it peaceful and relaxing. Having our own private toilet at the site was a huge bonus and it was spotless and well maintained. The shared facilities were excellent, and the fully enclosed dog park was a winner for our German Shepherd. Kim and Glen were amazing hosts — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. It’s the perfect spot for families, people travelling with dogs, and ideal for both caravans and tents. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend!

Our first Hipcamp… and what a lovely experience. Great communication and info leading up to our stay, and we were greeted on arrival and shown our camp site. We were offered a large bag of wood for a reasonable price, which was left for us next to the fire pit. The property is quite open and you can see most sites from yours, but they’re far enough away from each other to only hear nature and feel like you have your own fairly private slice of land. We loved our site and the ability to have a safe fire going for most of our stay. The ground was grassy, super flat and clear of debris which was perfect for camping. We made use of the trees on our site for the hammocks too. We had an excellent time and felt relaxed right away. We had a speaker for music but didn’t actually use it because we enjoyed listening to the birds and sounds of the bush so much. Each site has its own portaloo and it’s clean and doesn’t smell. Kim and Glen were lovely and are clearly very proud of their land and love having campers enjoy it too. Can’t wait to come back, probably for longer than a weekend next time.

I stayed here by myself for a night. It was great! I was in a rooftop camper and there were plenty of options for spots. Lots of places to have a fire, hot showers (!!) and toilets close by (super clean and lots of them). I really enjoyed the obstacle course!!! It is close to a road so you will hear traffic sounds in the morning. Would absolutely come again! Also, Sav the ranger was a sweetheart!

Beautiful property. Large private sites. Clean toilets provided. Ordered the firewood delivered to site and the freshly baked loaf of bread, delicious. Very quiet, lovely starry night.

First time camping in Australia since moving over from the UK and was the perfect first time, unbelievable nighttime and morning views to wake up to with a generous amount of land for kids to run free and have fun. 2 very nice people that made us feel welcome and comfortable supplied everything we needed. Would highly recommend this beautiful spot.

We loved our stay here. The property is wonderfully managed and so well maintained. The sites are spaced out and our kids had plenty of room to play and run around and they really enjoyed exploring the property.

Camp sites are well looked after with level grounds and ease of access right next to the river. Plenty of wildlife, yabbies, fish, turtles, wombats, possums. The rotunda with bbqs came in handy. Friendly hosts with attention to detail ie well maintained and clean toilets, wood bbq for personal cooking and happy to assist. 5 Stars.

Glen and Kim have a beautiful property that’s well maintained. It was our first farmstay camp with dogs so weren’t really sure how it would go, but they were very communicative and easygoing which made for a great trip for our large group. Works well for big and small groups alike - plenty of space for everyone!

This was our first time taking our motorhome off grid and what a beautiful experience it was. The place is so well maintained, well spread out with other campers. The kids loved taking a little dip in the river, fire & marshmallows in the evening. Plus use of BBQ was perfect. We can’t wait to come back with friends. Glen was so welcoming and kind.
