Great place to stay, good access to toilets and potable water, other campsites were close by which made it comfortable as first time campers. Rangers were super helpful with showing us around and even assisted us with bringing over a fire pit. Would highly recommend for anyone starting their camping journey!

This was my first camping experience and I loved how easy this place made it. There was drinkable water, hot showers and even provided logs for a really affordable price. There was a few good hiking trails around in Bunyip or Kurth Kiln.

Perfect destination for first time campers or family with potable water, warm shower, flush toilet and plenty of firewood around to collect. Easy check in and out. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway.

Top spot if you're looking for a nice, open family space where kids can explore without being out of sight. Toilets and showers are absolute bonus; would be good for bikes. Staff was really nice, too. Recommended!

It's peaceful and quiet. Facility is not fancy but good and clean. The site is very spacious. My only problem is arrived 6 o'clock, Office closed. No guardians to find site.You may want to come a bit earlier.

Wonderful campsite experience!

The place had everything we needed; clean toilets, hot showers, and easy access to all the facilities. Firewood was available on-site, though we brought our own just in case. Pete, the ranger, was incredibly helpful and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Despite the chilly winter weather (we wanted to try winter camping!), we had a great time and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful Bushland Camp!

We loved our stay! Such a naturally stunning bit of bushland up in Gembrook with all the necessary amenities you could want (flushable toilets, hot showers, drinking water, firepits and plenty of firewood). We were lucky to see lots of bird life and had some gorgeous, clear starry nights 🤩 Its super close to the town of Gembrook so it's easy enough to restock food/ice etc if you were staying for a longer period, the only downfall being noise from the main road (cars and motorbikes), but tbh it was a relatively rare disruption to the peace. Thanks for having us!!

We booked last minute and camped at the bottom of get hill at C01, close to toilet/showers. Great facilities and heaps of space. We were the only ones there all weekend (during April school holidays) that weren’t with a scout group. It’s 460 acres of bush with loads of hikes and activities for kids including an approx 2km ‘ninja warrior’ style challenge that was a great way to take the legs out of the kids at the end of the day. They only just started advertising this on Hipcamp, expect it will fill up as people find out about it. Theres creeks and streams, a small lake to swim in, friendly staff, bouldering, giant see-saws, tightrope walking, bike tracks, etc etc, I could go on all day. Recommend 👌
