We operate a small working farm on our 50 acre property. Approximately 7 acres is cleared fields where we grow hemp, pigs and chickens. We are at the end of a dirt road with private access and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. If you decide to stay with us we can guarantee you your own private tent site to get away from it all, or a beautiful spot to park your van, car or small camper, all while still being only 10 minutes to the amenities of town, 15 minutes to world famous mountain biking at Kingdom Trails, or 20 minutes to breathtaking Lake Willoughby. Learn more about this land: We have two private tent platforms located in a mature mixed hardwood forest on our 50 acre property, as well as one van/small camper/car camping site located on the edge of our field. Each tent platform site includes an elevated and level 10'x12' cedar tent platform, a picnic table, and more privacy than the car camping site. Parking is less than a 1 minute walk from the platforms down a well maintained woods road and gorilla carts are available to help haul your gear. Many guests who wish to stay right next to their cars choose to car camp on the edge of the field in the car camping site, either pitching a tent or spending the night in their small camper. The views from this site are breathtaking, but it has less privacy as it is located next to the communal firepit, and amidst our working farm so we will occasionally be around doing chores, (the chickens and pigs are early risers). The communal fire pit has a great view and a few chairs are provided. Seasoned firewood is available for purchase, and we ask that you please do not harvest or burn your own wood off the property. Potable drinking water and a portable toilet are also available onsite for our guests. Well behaved pets are welcome, but must remain on a leash to ensure they do not disturb our plants or farm animals. We are at the dead end of a gravel road and can guarantee complete privacy and seclusion if you are looking to get away from it all, yet still be located conveniently within 10 minutes of Lyndonville, 15 minutes to Kingdom Trails and East Burke, 20 minutes to Lake Willoughby, and at the doorstep to the beautiful wilderness of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom!

Pitch your tent on one of our two private tent platforms located in our secluded and mature hardwood forest on our 50 acre farm.  Each site includes a 10'x12' elevated and level cedar platform for your tent, and a picnic table.  The tent sites offer more privacy than the car camping site, and are located a short (less than one min) walk away from the parking area down a well maintained woods road.  Gorilla carts are available to help haul your gear, and a portable toilet is located at the parking area for your convenience.  A communal firepit with a view is located just a short walk away, and is enjoyed by everyone staying on the farm.  Seasoned firewood is located next to the firepit, and is available for purchase and enjoyment.  We ask that you please do not have fires at your tent site, and do not harvest or collect your own firewood in order to help preserve our limited woods habitat and resource.  Potable water is available for filling up water bottles/containers and is accessed via an exterior hose bib on the north side of the house (the side facing you as you walk up the driveway).  It is clean and unfiltered water strait from our deep drilled well.  Most guests who choose to stay at a tent platform rather than the car camping site enjoy the extra privacy and seclusion that the tent camping sites provide, with site 2 offering the most privacy of all the sites on our farm.

Guests who wish to camp right next to their cars, or bring the comforts of home with them in their small RV or camper van choose to stay at our Field's edge car camping site. This site is located right on the edge of our field, has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, and an open and relatively level area to park or pitch your tent.. There is a communal firepit located at this site, which is shared by all guests staying on the farm, and seasoned firewood is available for an extra fee for your convenience and enjoyment. While the site does offer the added convenience of camping right next to your vehicle, the drawback is that it does not have the same privacy as our sugar woods tent platforms. We do operate as a small working farm and you will likely see us out and about as we do our chores, (the pigs and the chickens are early risers).

This was a good place to camp close to Kingdom Trails. I was there for two nights. Water is available. Portable toilet. Tent platform (about 6” to spare on all sides with a 6 person tent). Nice view from main site. I liked the privacy of the tent sites. Pretty larch trees and bayberry along main driveway.

I stayed at tent site 1, nice little spot nestled in the woods. I was the only one staying on the property for the weekend, and was there to enjoy Kingdom Trails for the day on Saturday. Easy to get and to and from main spots in the area. I just kicked it by the communal fire pit before going to bed both nights. Lovely stars. Walked around and said hello to the pigs and the two dogs that would playfully come by to say hello. Would definitely stay again, made for a great home base for the weekend.

Platform form and forest, perfect. Fire pit and view on the last day of summer, ideal. We did encounter maybe a bull moose with a roar or grunt sound circling the tent (it was as if a beast was choking) so very thankful we had ALL things packed away in the car just in case. Owls, coyote calls, so many sitings! Thank you, Ben!

The campsite was comfortable and private and easy to access. The sound of water nearby was peaceful. Visits from the pup were a welcome surprise. I highly recommend signing up for a farm tour, it was very educational and interesting. Overall a great place to camp!

Ben's land was a great place to camp. Beautiful field with amazing views. The fresh eggs were great for breakfast. The fire pit was big. Tent platforms fit my very big 6 person tent. Would highly recommend.

This site was very secluded and private. Closer to town for what we needed. The space was nice with a stream that flows close enough to hear. Tranquil and quiet. Would recommend.

Very nice and private, beautiful farm close to kingdom trails, lake willoughby and other great places. Ben, we really enjoyed hanging out, hearing and seeing everything you've done on the farm. Look forward to coming back soon!

Great camping, tent platform was well constructed with good distance between sites (minimal noise). Ben was a great host, with clear directions and plenty of firewood for communal campfire. Farm has beautiful views of Burke mountain, and located w/in 20min drive of East Burke & Kingdom Trails

Our group of four mountain bikers had a great stay at Ben’s campsite. The tent platform is tucked away in the woods and very private. The platform fits two small tents easily. We ordered eggs with the booking, which Ben dropped off when he walked over to great us the night we arrived. The wagon he provided was a great help to bring our gear to the site. Spartacus, the farm dog greeted us at the site in the morning. The common fire pit area is on the main farm a short walk from the site and has an excellent view of Burke Mountain.

Camping at Off Piste farm was excellent! The host was very accommodating and had a pleasant attitude. The campsites were well secluded, and the platforms made for very easy setup. The view from the firepit was amazing, and my only regret was not getting up early to watch the sunrise

Ben have great directions to finding the farm and the campsite. We stayed on a platform in the woods with our dog. it was quiet and private. Stream running close by in the woods. Absolutely beautiful farm, and Ben was a super friendly and helpful host. Perfect spot to set up easy camp! Even got fresh eggs from the farm.
