Nature and wildlife filled with fun and relaxation, Bee Mountain River Resort is a one-of-a-kind property. Private, spacious and beautiful, we are blessed with 1.5 miles of sandy beaches along the Brazos River where campers leave the stress and white noise of life’s hectic pace behind. Visitors enjoy our quiet and beautiful surroundings along with the good company of family and friends. And best of all, you get to play on some of the finest water in Texas for boating, fishing and water sports. Adults and kids love it here because it’s a great place to hang out, to be active, and to have some good old fashion fun. Our customers are usually groups of friends and family; many of them have camped here for years. A few even claim to have grown up on the river and, to some extent, that might be true. Bee Mountain Resort is a secluded off-the-grid campground that's been around since the '70s. And it's pretty well known to the locals. I first discovered the Brazos River back in 1985 looking for smooth water to ski on. And having developed so many great memories camping over the years, I can confidently say our resort is classic and old school. Change comes pretty slow on the Brazos.....and we happen to like it that way! Family, friends, kids and pets all love our amazing getaway; it's a rare gem best shared with good people. Every campsite is located directly on the river and all of them are huge. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddleboards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from our 500' deep well, clean restrooms and a camper dump station are located on premises. We are very pet friendly providing your pet is friendly.

All of our campsites are huge riverfront sites and they were just expanded to make them much wider and more private. Each site now measures a whopping 110' wide by 150' deep. While these are actually numbered campsites, we treat them first come first serve on your initial visit. Repeat customers can always choose their favorite campsite subject to availability! Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddle boards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from a deep well, clean restrooms and camper dump station are located on premises. We are pet friendly if your pet is friendly.

It directly overlooks the Brazos River and Bee Mountain along with some really excellent views! Dating back to the 70s, Eagles Ridge 1 was always leased out to annual members but, with our growing interest in non-membership weekend camping and for large events, we decided it was time to add some high quality supply into the mix. Eagles Ridge 1 is really spacious with an awesome beach, great shade and incredible views! The site comes with a stone fire pit, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. It is also located right next to Eagles Ridge 2 so they both can easily be combined together to accommodate much larger groups.

We can expand our Glampsite into a huge double riverfront (200’ wide beach) for entertaining even larger groups and events in remarkable outdoor style!

This campsite measures 100' wide by nearly 400’ deep and the views are absolutely stunning no matter where you look! Until we developed our Glampsite (tricked out with stonework improvements), Sandy Point sites 1 and 2 were always the crown jewels of Bee Mountain Resort's annual membership program; and the sites were always leased out to annual members.....until April, 2024! With our continually growing customer interest and appreciation for premium weekend camping, as well large events, we couldn't pass up adding this prized campsite into the mix when opportunity came. Sandy Point 1 and 2 are both very spacious with an awesome beach, great shade and incredible views! Each campsite comes with a fire pit, picnic table and a charcoal grill. Our first time camping at this campground, and we absolutely loved it! The photos don't do the scenery justice—it was even more beautiful in person. My wife and I had an amazing, peaceful getaway. We enjoyed kayaking on the river, relaxing by the campsite, and taking in the quiet nights under the stars. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We'll definitely be coming back and hope to reserve the same campsite again when it's available. Highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor experience!- Oscar & Lupita

Drove the Brinkley Z2810 up from San Antonio. Met up with Father and Bro-in-law from Dallas. Beautiful drive into Tony’s place. Low canopy on the way in, but light brush that doesn’t harm the fifth wheel. Met Melanie upon arrival at 7pm, super nice. Met Tony on Friday - he works weekends. Super nice. Gorgeous place. Was in spot 5. The absolute perfect spot. Bring an inverter generator, fill a fresh water tank upon arrival. Try to post up in the shade. River fishing was a dud, wish we brought a raft to hit the other side. They actually may have some for rent. Lots of boating traffic, surprisingly, but not intrusive. Watch for fire ants. If you are a road biker, the road is awesome for a shaded ride. Almost a tunnel of trees. Smooth for cycling tires after you get away from the entry to the camp - head towards Rio Vista. Would definitely go back!

I had an awesome experience at the Bee Mountain River resort. We camped right by the river and even though it rained all day, we were prepared enough not to let the weather spoil our trip. The whole property is absolutely beautiful and we loved listening to the sound of the birds, looking at the river and sipping a cup of matcha in the morning. Pure bliss! We will definitely be coming back for more tent campings.

The area was even better than the photos. Our camping area was quite secluded, the loads of fire wood were generous, the area was well kept and clean. The river was larger than I thought it would be with plenty of space and areas to explore in the kayaks. Overall a very enjoyable visit.

My new happy place!!! Absolutely everything about it made my week of solitude by the river the most blissful experience I could have hoped for. Going to sleep and waking up each day to a gorgeous view of Bee Mountain was the most peaceful feeling ever. The spacious campsite made me feel like I had the whole place to myself (and for a couple of days, I almost did!) Kayaking on the river was one of the main highlights of the trip thanks to a cute little cave nook I found on my trip up river. My beachfront silent disco dance parties were probably my second favorite part of the trip. Or maybe the evening wind down campfires tie for second….I can’t decide, there were so many amazing moments!!! Tony’s team could not have been more helpful and accommodating (and thanks for the awesome shirt, Melanie!!) I can’t wait to book my next trip for this fall!! This will absolutely be a semi-annual solo retreat spot for as long as they’re around.

Really nice camping spots that's not too far from Fort Worth! We had such an amazing time the spot was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. There's not really any Internet service it was very spotty, but that's what makes it even better. It's nice to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The river is right at the camp spot easy access for kayak and paddle boards. Our dogs also loved this spot!

This is a great camping spot for families. The hosts made our stay easy and checked in each day with any updates and or to see if we needed anything. Being able to get firewood, kayaks, ice, and fresh water from the hosts was convenient. The views along the river are amazing. Cell coverage is limited, which we liked. Wildlife is present all around the property, the coolest being the owls, whose hoots would resonate and echo off the river. Speaking of the river, the water is very calm in front of the camp sites, with most allowing for pretty easy entry. Plan on bringing life jackets for kids. This is a camping spot we will definitely be returning to!

We had an absolute blast tent camping this weekend! The sites were really big! I love that they deliver fire wood right to your site. Having a bathroom near was also nice! They were very friendly and communicated with us multiple times throughout the weekend. We hope to be back very soon!

Vast property with stunning views and lots of natural beauty. It was great to wake up to the sight of the river in the morning. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit of our time there but we still did our best to make the most of our stay. Be aware the campsites are pretty close together, so this might not be the place for you if you are looking for something secluded. We were fine with it but we did have to listen to a generator 24/7 at the campsite next to us which was a bit annoying. Ice and firewood are sold on property which is a huge plus, although the firewood we had delivered on the first night was pretty damp which made it hard to get the fire started. I assume this is not a problem when the weather is better. Overall great spot and hope to return at some point and have better luck with the weather, thanks Tony!

The host were very accommodating and friendly. The tent site that was reserved for us was the best Tent site had really good tree shade, space, privacy, and views! As mentioned in the description, cell service was little (T-Mobile) or next to nothing (Visible), which was perfectly fine for us and expected. Restroom near the site was great and convenient. Minimal road noise, we noticed the train sounds more. Overall great site and will be back again!

Bee Mountain Resort had everything we needed for a family camping weekend. Beautiful views, the largest tent site we've ever experienced, clean bathrooms with a flushable toilet, friendly service, and the sounds of nature. There were even lightning bugs at night, which is a novelty to see these days!

My 19 yr old son and I came to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and what we found was incredibly remarkable. Such a serene experience right next the mighty Brazos River. The water was flowing pretty swiftly due to flood control from the upstream lake but us and our 2 Black Lab pups just loved every minute of our time. With about 2 miles of well maintained riverfront to hike, we found ourselves just completely blown away by the beauty and serenity of God’s creation. His staff was very helpful and they made the stay very pleasant and accommodated all of our needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone and my wife and I are already in the works of planning our return trip.

Our stay at bee mountain resort was amazing!! The camping area are very spacious, gives you PLENTY of room if 3 or more tents are being put up. We were right off the bank shore making it easy to put kayaks into the water. Finally the bathroom are clean and kept up. Lots of trails to hike as well. Melanie and Tony are very helpful and keep EVERYONE update when bathroom are being traded out or just checking if campers need anything, definitely recommend and will be coming back to here

We had a magnificent time at Bee Mountain. Tony and Melanie were fantastic hosts and we cannot wait to go back. They made check in a breeze, they were super friendly, answered every question we had, and were a joy to sit and chat with. The property is simply stunning! I could go on and on and on about it, but just do yourself a favor and go out there for a stay!! It’s truly a gem and I am so thankful that there are private property owners that share their little slices of heaven with those of us who would rather be out in nature than stuck in the concrete jungles. THANK YOU Tony and Melanie!!!!

My kids and I stayed there over spring break, we were at Eagle Ridge 1-I finally got to meet Tony., He was super-friendly and very welcoming; Melanie met us and guided us to our spot—she was very helpful. I chose our spot because it was close to the restrooms which helped with my littles; our spot, the river, everything was perfect—we will definitely be back
