This was our second year camping here. We like having access to a wash sink and bathroom in the barn and tables to eat at for dinner. It is much quieter than other campgrounds which we appreciate.
Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a site! Super quiet, pleanty of land to choose from. Jay was an amazing host and provided pleanty of amenities.
My son and I bicycled the OTET and stayed at Little Darby Outdoors on Day 2 of our ride – which I inadvertently booked for Day 1 of our ride. When our host, Jay, texted checking in, I explained my mishap and there was no issue for us to stay the following night instead (and no additional charge – many thanks). So, on Day 2 we came off trail at the Camp Chase Trailhead and headed up Gardner Road/Route 281 for less than two miles to Little Darby. We texted Jay upon our arrival and he let us know the building and facilities were open for our use. He arrived about 15 minutes later with Coco, a playful chocolate lab! Jay offered for us to set up our tent on the spacious pavilion, which we did. The pavilion has tables and chairs, so we were able to spread out our gear to dry. The hillside wildflower garden was full of birds and butterflies, which we enjoyed watching during dinner and breakfast the following morning. There were plenty of charging areas for our phones. Inside the lodge building was a coffee maker, microwave, flush toilets and a shower – all the comforts of home. The water was good, with no sulfur smell we had encountered at other campsites (we are used to municipal water). Definitely recommend Jay and Little Darby Outdoors for bike camping on the OTET!! Happy and safe pedaling!!

Jay sites are great. He has som great amenities including hot showers, microwave, and a great shelter with picnic tables which is helpful during inclement weather.
This is a great stopover point for those traveling the Ohio Erie bike trail.

Very spacious with lots of options to find a private spot. The bathroom and shower facility were a really nice touch. Down over the hill felt really private and we could barely hear any road noise. It felt like we were much further away from Columbus than you actually were.

I appreciated that the host was very responsive as I had made a last minute reservation at night. The property was quiet, clean, peaceful, and the bathroom was nicer than I expected! Definitely would recommend to others and I would stay again.

I enjoy camping on Jay’s land. He offers you choice of site amongst 13 acres as well as use of a large covered deck, very clean private bath with a hot shower, microwave, and small fridge. The area is quiet and private and not far from interstate or town. I would stay again.

I loved where we were able to pitch our tent near a small pond - it was far enough away from other campers to not be bothered by outside noise and still close enough to everyone that it felt safe being there with my son. Also, only a short walk to the bathroom/shower. Beautiful grounds, very well maintained. We were in town for an event at the convention center and were trying to save a little money camping vs. splurging on a hotel. Camping was a great decision! Would highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Host was friendly and site was picturesque. Even more on site than described in listing. Great spot! Little Darby’s story + reinvention is great too.
This was an amazing place to stay! My son and I were riding the OTET, and jays place was prefect! Easy to get to and had showers and electricity!! And there is a covered deck in case of rain or you just don’t feel like getting the tent out. If anyone is in the area for the evening I would definitely recommend.

There is a spot for every type of camping. The bathroom and shower were clean and I received a response to my questions through the app within minutes. Best of all, the property is beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer.

The pictures didn’t do it justice. The event space and bathroom are both amazingly stocked and very unique. Great price as well. Great host who does a good job showing you around and staying out of your business

Absolutely amazing. Friendly, clean, hot water, power, you name it. Couldn’t ask for a better place.
100% worth the tiny detour if you’re biking the OTET.
Jay's place is the best!! The host is thoughtful, the facilities are great and the location worked very well for me coming off the OTET.

Jay was super nice and his property is beautiful and very closed to the OTET. Be sure to pay attention to the address and don’t follow Google Maps. But once you get there, it’s amazing. Fridge, coffee maker, hot shower and multiple bathrooms. A lovely covered deck with lots of table and chairs and lots of indoor space too if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Would definitely stay here again.

Jay's land was perfect for my car camping situation. There were tenters on the property as well. Plenty of room. Incredible amenities. Jay really has everything there that you might need when passing through. I'll make this a stop every time I'm coming through the area.

What a great place to stay! We are thru-riding the Ohio to Erie Trail and Jay's place was just 2 miles from the trail. Easy to find and worth the little extra distance. The property is beautiful and the facilities were well equipped. Jay was a great host!

Waking up to see 4 deer walking through the grass was quite the pleasant surprise. There’s a lot of pride and work put into this place and it shows. A wonderful host, great facilities (the watering can shower head is awesome!), would absolutely stay there again and definitely recommend it.
Three of us are biking across the USA with an RV and two tents. Jay’s place was PERFECT after a long 65 miles day of pedaling. The “clubhouse” shower a welcome sight. Bonuses: Playing with 18 month old Coco, a rambunctious chocolate lab; talking to Jay; WiFi and a field of daisies. Nice big property.
Jay is a great host. Great view for Camping. 1 shower and 2 toilets are in the rec house.
