Knotty Pines
Large campsite
We came from Montreal and stayed 2 nights, we were treated and escorted to the campsite. There was a large stack of wood ready to use, water and a large picnic table. Very nice place with tall trees and fairly level ground. Fire pit was great it was very large and even had a grill grate to put over the top.

Knotty Pines
Camping in Knotty Pines was fantastic! My boyfriend and I loved our hidden corner. It was spacious and clean! There was enough space for our tent, pop up screen and car. The fire pit is a perfect size, not tiny at all! There is plenty to do nearby so you'll never be bored. Cara was immensely helpful and a wonderful host! If we are ever staying in the area again we'll definitely come back!

Moto Camping
We spent a couple nights camping here and it was the highlight of a long motorcycle trip. It was really easy to find the location and get back to where the camp site was. Lots of flat areas to put up tents and park the bikes. The campsite is perfectly situated amongst a pine forest and has everything you need. Table space, fire pit, wash station, even a shower area. There's a lot of space to spread out and you don't get any traffic noise typical of a spot like this in the northeast. Cara is also great! We'll be back for sure.

Cara was an awesome host. She greeted us warmly and asked if we needed anything. The camping site is right next to a beaver pond. The bullfrogs serenaded us all night. There was a good view of the stars.

Great campsite by a frozen pond for some winter camping fun in the Adirondacks. Still fairly easy to access from the road with a bit of snow. It was such a great location that we booked an extra night.

A wonderful, quiet getaway
What a wonderful location! Cara and family keep the spot clean and well stocked. I visited off season in November and they delivered a full stock of wood to keep me warm. The pond is charming, all you can hear is the fire and the trickle of water. The spot I stayed is just past their house down a hill and off to the right, close by to walk up should you need anything yet far enough to feel secluded.

Beautiful, Quiet Place!
We loved our stay here! It’s such a beautiful space. The pine trees surrounding the site made for an awesome experience, and the fire ring setup was very nice! Cara & Garrett were also great - so welcoming and hospitable! If you’re looking for a remote, peaceful, beautiful stay - this is the place! And if you have a chance, go to the Ausable Chasm - it’s well worth it!!

Care and Garrett were wonderful hosts and their property was absolutely beautiful! The sight is huge and very private. Our dogs had a blast running around all day and exploring the area. Cara and Garrett were very helpful and always responsive. They provide you with everything you need and more, including dry and well burning firewood! While still giving you all the privacy you could ever need. We had an absolute blast and hope to return in the future! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us Cara and Garrett!

Campsite was great! All you could need and then some. Layout and terrain are fantastic for a tent, smooth ground surface and in a very quiet private pine forested area. Cara was wonderful and prompt with responses to any questions or concerns and her husband was a very nice guy who would do whatever he could to get you whatever you need. 100% would recommend this site and anyone and will definitely be booking when I go back

Blissful experience at this site
Very accommodating and warm host.
Awesome site. Very convenient that the host would bring wood to our site upon request and leave it next to the fire pit.
Very quiet place, got to listen to the birds, the woods are beautiful and we got to hang our hammocks. Easy to get there. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the site. It was close to many great views and close to town.

In nature's hands!
Pondside is idyllic, with few human sounds. Instead the landscape envelopes you with bird calls, peepers, water running through the beaver damn, wind-high in the trees, sunset and the most pleasant hosts you could ask for. I can't wait to come back. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and the water on site was so cold it was refreshing. Totally memorable!

Camp with friendly knotty pines!
A very private and peaceful Adirondack camp with a clean outhouse, picnic table, fire ring, bean bag toss game, and water station available. Easy access, with a wilderness walking trail nearby. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.... the knotty pines will become your friends if you're not careful!😁 Much better than a public campground where you are typically piled on top of each other. Highly recommended!
