Camping with Goats!
Very cute little farm with camping options. Hosts were very nice and welcoming. Electric does not support a 30Amp system, so running A/C in summer is out, this wasn't an issue as it was too cold for my stay. Water is close by and the animals are just as friendly as the people. Odin the cat became quick friends. It's good to know there is no dump site at the camp nor within a reasonable drive, so come prepared. I did know this in advance so it's nothing against the farm amenities, just helpful FYI for future campers. This was a very nice camping option as the area has few others in the area outside of seasonal rentals. Growing up on a farm, my stay felt very much like "going home" in a good way.

Barn fun!!!
I had so much Fun exploring the Farm with my grandkids!!! We cooked dinner over the open fire and they had some delicious vegetables that we used in our meal. The highlight of the whole experience was there beautiful barn that we played in all evening. Everybody had a good time together. Thank you Joel and Esther for sharing your farm with us:)

Hilltop Campsite
We loved staying here! Our hosts were lovely and welcoming. We camped as two mommas with their baby and toddler and it was perfect. I loved that the kids could roam around in the beautiful grass without having to be hoveringon them. The animals were all amazing! We were offered veggies and to pick our own eggs and grapes that were delicious! Plus the amenities were all great, outhouse was clean, we had the possibility to use the fridge, an outdoor sink... I can totally see getting into their milkhouse or barn as a shelter in case of inclement weather too. Only downside was the mosquitoes so come prepared! But I can totally see us turning this into a yearly tradition.

Labor Day Camping
We had a wonderful stay with Esther & Joel. We really enjoyed the tour of their property and the animals were so fun to interact with. The outhouse was very clean and nice to use, and the walking path around the perimeter was enjoyable.
The Elderberry field campsite is definitely the least nice of all the sites on the property. It is closest to the house, has a bright barn light that illuminates the area, is closest to the road, and has geese that can be loud. Next time, we will definitely choose another spot.

Beautiful quiet place on a farm
Absolutely beautiful spot. The property as well as the surrounding properties are beautiful. The camp is very clean (nicest port a potty I have EVER seen) and the hosts are kind and very well organized. There is a shower. I didn’t use it because I’m lazy but the people who did liked it. The campground is very quiet at night and everyone is very respectful. Water sources all over. I felt like I had plenty of space (meaning I wasn’t cramped in). I also enjoyed seeing the animals. They are all very clean and sweet. The goats, in particular, really like being petted:).
For those who work remote. You will have service. Wifi when I was at the barn was vast and allowed for quick downloads.

A peaceful farmland escape
The Jubilee Homestead was a total dream. Esther's parents were our hosts for the weekend and were absolutely lovely. We arrived quite late at night and were greeted with warmth and cookies and the offer of a tour in the morning. We awoke to the sounds of Chicken Nugget, a resident rooster, surrounded by the tranquil farmlands and alongside the elderberry bushes. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful and though we only got to spend a short time there, we would absolutely love to come back. Cannot recommend highly enough!

First camping trip as a parent!
Fantastic campsite. My 3 year old daughter loved every min of camping. There was so much to do. She went fishing, fed the farm animals and played at the park. One of the best most memorable camping experiences ever. We loved it so much we will be back again. Please stay here the hosts are fantastic.

The goats will love you.
This place is wonderful. I didn't get to meet Esther and Joel as they were out of town at the time of my stay. I did have the pleasure of meeting their parents. I was warmly greeted and given a brief tour of the the place. I was impressed immediately as I was shown around. The animals are great. There is an adolescent chicken that is the most social farm bird I've ever seen,,, it will just come right up to you and let you touch and handle it. I loved the goats and I'm pretty sure they loved me. That's right,, these goats will look at you lovingly! I had come here to escape life and just isolate for a few days and I was 100% able to achieve that. I definitely plan on returning in the future. Overall I think this place is very well thought out.

Wonderful Experience
Wow! This was our first HipCamp experience and boy did these hosts set the bar high. They were super communicative from the beginning. We were the only campers at the time of our stay so they gave us a chance to switch sites once we saw the layout of the land and what was best for our tent. They gave us privacy but also were open to sharing their homestead experience with us. We have a 10 month old who was able to feed the goats treats, pick up fresh chicken eggs, watch the geese and get dirty! The "porta potty" was beautiful (those words have never come out of my mouth before) and the outdoor shower was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying here.

We were warmly welcomed by Esther and Joel upon arrival and given a tour of the property. We loved visiting with the animals and viewing the impressive vegetable garden. We were even given permission to pick some delicious apples from one of their trees. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Overall this HipCamp is welcoming. The privvy is exceptional! The hosts are putting a lot of love and energy into their land.
For us, the late (10:30 p.m.) arrival of another guest who spent 30 minutes leveling their trailer was a big drawback.
We also experienced rain which detracted from us utilizing the fire pit and the picnic area.

Awesome Get-Away
Esther and Joel’s land did not disappoint! They made our camping experience very easy and enjoyable! They greeted us and made us feel very welcome right from the start! They have a very fun hobby farm that made just hanging out by the camper all day a lot of fun. We were able to visit the animals (lots of baby animals while we were there) and they also made us feel more than welcome to use their barn, playground and awesome sandbox for our toddler! It was a peaceful stay and we are planning to definitely come again!

Started great with a welcome bag and tour from our friendly hosts, Esther and Joel. They were very knowledgeable and
were able to answer all the animal questions we had. Beautiful barn to spend time in, nice short path to hike, farm fresh eggs, one of the nicest bathrooms, nice area to park our camper... And of course love all the animals! Especially one precious little tan goat we kept a close eye on! 😉 Very enjoyable stop for campers and animal lovers!

Grandpa’s Field Test
I just purchased a lightweight camper-trailer & The Jubilee Homestead was the first venue where I set it up. Wow. The place was fantastic. Quiet. Peaceful. Welcoming host family. Great outdoor shower. Free firewood. Nearby bike trails. Air-conditioned “milkroom” (my personal favorite) equipped with Keurig coffee, microwave, refrigerator/ freezer & other amenities. The Jubilee Homestead was a great setting for this senior citizen to field test his new camper for 3 nights. It would be an even more perfect setting for families with young children!

I loved being tucked away in under the watchful eye of the barn. The hosts were eager to give us a tour so we could get settled and they could back to work, which I can appreciate. Later in the evening we were greeted with farm fresh eggs! That made us feel at home. Loved the outdoor shower and roaming farm animals.

Excellent host and location
Camped at the farm with two kiddos and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Was greeted upon arrival by Joel with a welcome bag, then a tour of the property and amenities and finally our campsite. We had a 30ft class C motorhome that fit great and a power hookup to boot. A real working farm and such a great place to enjoy some quiet time while the kids had plenty of options: Fishing, nature walk/hike, see and feed the animals, giant playground, the barn and even the 'milk room'. Highly recommend to visit!

Hilltop Campsite
We where looking for a relaxing spot to camp along our route back to St. Louis. It was only an over night stay, but we could of stayed longer. Wonderful visit.
Arrived close to 3pm, Ester instantly greeted up as we pulled up. She showed us to our site, gave us info, and a tour of their homestead. Goats, chickens, bunnies, and fishing!! Our site had pretty views of the pasture outside our bedroom.
Kids loved all the animals, barn loft, fishing, and playing with the kids. Plus, our daughter got to milk a goat!! At night, lots of toads to catch as well. The nigh sky was perfect for stargazing.
The adults loved the views while relaxing. We had a fire ring, horse shoes, and a nice swing to enjoy. The homemade cookies where so yummy!!
What an awesome host!! Due to allergies affecting our daughter's eyes, we where needing eye drops. I texted the hosts and they where able to provide some. Being far from home and unsure of the closest store, this was very helpful.

Our stay at the Jubilee Homestead was great! We camped in our pop up camper with our 1 and 4 year old. Esther and Joel greeted us upon arrival with a goodie bag that had helpful information about the surrounding area and gave a tour around the farm. The kiddos loved seeing the animals, playing on the awesome swing set, and watching a movie up in the barn. It was an added bonus for us that one of the other sites was occupied with another family with kids the same age as ours so they had new friends to play with. Would highly recommend this spot for families!

The space was great and super fun! We were able to collect our own eggs, pet some goats and a baby bunny, and fish in the fishpond. Very relaxing environment. May seek to stay here again in the future!
