This place is actually not bad. It a 5 - 10 min drive to NOLA. full hook-ups and host comes out and helps you park your rig. There a huge security gate and super quiet at night. Only recommendations is watch your ass end pulling into the lot.
Very friendly welcome, despite the heavy rain. We were shown to our pitch and guided with everything we need to do, this was our first hook up in the RV, and Brijesh was very helpful.
We were able to do our washing in the laundry, all very simple.
The parking was completely secure.
A 10 minute uber into the centre of New Orleans, makes this a perfect RV parking location for visiting New Orleans.

Stayed here for a week during Jazzfest. Affordable RV park in the back of a motel. The manager is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. At $30/night for full hookups it was by far the cheapest option around New Orleans that I found. The park is bare bones, just a gravel lot. The biggest negative for me is it’s right next to the railyard, the trains are loud and I could feel the ground shake at times. I liked that it’s right across the street from the bus line (9), which runs very close to the fairgrounds, I got a week pass on the RTA Le Pass app for $15 for unlimited rides.
Just as described! This worked perfect for leaving our camper secured while we went to the festival. I would add there is a freight train line on the other side of the fence. It can be noisy!

Very secure for your trip into New Orleans. Very friendly staff and electric hook ups. I didn’t hear the trains when I slept but they are close so bring ear plugs if you wake to any noise. Uber is around 20-25 to French quarter and there is laundry I Wish there were a little grassy dog area, he did not want to go to the bathroom there, lots of rocks. But again very secure to keep your fur baby safe in your RV while you check out the sights with 24/7 cameras and isn’t that the most important?! We will be back and recommend.
Good place to stay for the budget conscious. Trains didn't bother me at all, actually helped me sleep cause we are train enthusiast and I grew up semi close to hearing trains all night. Yeah, the neighborhood is a little rough, but don't cause any problems won't be any problems. The entire property is securely gated requiring a card to enter for those that are concerned, we weren't. Very close to Jazz Fest and the French Quarter. Brijesh was super nice and accommodating.
It depends on what you are looking for. This is a no frills all hook up, secure lot. We stayed while at Jazzfest and it worked out great! It is right next to the freight train tracks so definitely train noise.
Perfect affordable safe spot to camp if you are headed to the New Orleans area. Visited New Orleans for work and partied in the city after work. 15 mins from the city in a gated well lit secure lot with water and power hook ups. Will definitely return. Not the best area in the city but just like anywhere else. Staff/owner was very helpful and it's obvious they take pride in maintaining the property.

this place was definitely bare bones but also very safe, clean and accessible. the owner was super nice and made sure to stay up and available for our arrival around 10pm.
there is a train that goes behind the park and it’s super loud!! we play rainstorm noises in the RV at night so it wasn’t too bad but maybe bring earplugs if that sort of noise would bother you.
this is a great place to pass through! we will most likely be back when we take some time to visit new orleans.

Secure Facility and Great Price

All the hook-ups are brand new and well thought out in their placement. We always use a standard carbon filter, the water was totally fine, we drank it. The gates and fence around the property felt secure, we had zero issues. We felt secure leaving our RV, bikes and generator here and leaving for the whole day. There is a new guest washer/dryer for $2 load. Brijesh is very nice, greeted us, was on site and available for anything we needed. So ya, the train does run often and through the night. No biggie.

We had a pleasant 3 day stay with easy access to downtown New Orleans. The RV park was exactly how it was represented online, a big parking area with good connection to new hook ups. The place was very secure and we felt safe. Very quiet and we enjoyed the intermittent sounds of nearby trains. Management was very friendly, met us on our arrival and very helpful with set up.
Be aware to be sure you call right before you arrive so security gate can be opened - otherwise you’re RV will stick out into busy street. Thanks BJ!
A safe place to stay the night! This was a no frills RV park (no bathroom, simple grassy lot) but the gated entrance and well lit area was comforting. Brijesh was super friendly and welcoming! There was a bit of noise from the nearby train, but also super fun to watch it go by. Overall I would recommend! Great value.

Stayed here with my motorhome for a few days around New Year’s. Gated grounds with cameras made it feel safe even though the surrounding neighborhood seems a bit rough.
The park was clean, some nice from trains at night, and appeared well maintained. Easy access for RVs.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, just what you need after a long day of driving.
There is a bus stop nearby, which makes it fairly easy to get to the French Quarter and downtown without having to drive yourself. Overall, it is a reasonably priced and practical place to stay with a motorhome if you want secure parking and decent standards a short distance outside the city center.
We stayed here in New Orleans about 15 minutes from the French Quarter. It’s near a train and the area isn’t fancy, but I felt totally safe. The owners really show pride of ownership—they’re super attentive and always improving the place. They’ve have full hookups in every site and the area is clean. The trains didn’t bother us; I’m a light sleeper but earplugs did the trick. Overall, a super convenient spot to park while exploring NOLA. We’re frugal and we think the price is right! The RV park in the French Quarter would have cost us $115. I would come back and stay again!

The place was decent. The water is pretty bad - smelly and cloudy. I didn’t drink it. The property butts up to a rail line and you hear trains at all times of the day and night. The best part of this is the price and on-site amenities.

Very very sweet owners who were helpful and accommodating! Location is close to downtown Nola, and we felt very safe sleeping overnight and leaving our vehicle there during the day while we explored the city. Very much appreciated that it was gated! Highly recommend : )

Easy to park, very safe and secure, all amenities that you need in a rv. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a safe place for a couple of days.
Came here to go check out New Orleans for a few days and I feel like it was worth what we paid. The place is run by a super cute couple who are making improvements and are passionate about the property. It does have a motel on site as well. The area is secure and is gated which if it wasn’t we wouldn’t have chose to stay here as it is in a very sketchy area. We came here to sleep and then left to New Orleans for the day and it was worth it knowing our dogs and property was secure. I also think the owners stay on site in a house. Full hookups were available, pets were allowed, would stay again! 20-30 mins from New Orleans French quarters.
We stayed at this location during our recent RV trip across the United States. We are frugal travelers so we look for low-cost locations that provide electricity, water, dump, and wifi. This location is not the in the best location but a gate surrounds the property. We never felt uneasy. Our host, BJ, was very attentive upon our arrival. We were nervous once we saw the train depot behind the back wall since my husband is a light sleeper. We always carry ear plugs and did not experience any difficulty in sleeping. The trains did not run at night. The location was great for us exploring NOLA using our towed vehicle. It was a challenge entering the exiting the property through the narrow gate entrance and asphalt driveway which has a large pot hole. My husband is an experienced driver so this was just a minor inconvenience for us. Would we stay here again? Yes. This site is very affordable and checked off all of our boxes. Thank you, BJ.

This is a great and very economical place to park when visiting New Orleans. Owner is attentive, always present to ensure safety and a gated lot. Hook ups great. Gravel lot is level.
