Great place to stay! I would recommend short term or long term. It’s near the interstate and close to local shopping.
I didn’t read the description throughly, came to work remotely and write. No WiFi. Mister Joey is a gem. My bad 🙂

Campground was clean and quiet. Owner is great and very accommodating!
We had a great time at Camp Joey! The kids loved watching the animals. Baby chick's hatched while we were there. The pool was so refreshing. Cooking was easy with access to a stove top and fridge for storing cold food and drinks. We were given fresh squash and zucchini from the garden. My son even caught a fish at the lake and enjoyed some ax throwing at a target board that was set. We will definitely be back!!

Easy access, we'll marked campsite, beautiful pool. Thanks again.
We loved camping here at Camp Joey. The amenities are great, the sites are clean and have everything we need. There are chickens, pigs, and a turkey on the property which is fun for the whole family. Plenty of room for the pups to run around, they loved it! Friendly and welcoming host, we’ll definitely be back!

When we arrived on Good Friday, we were greeted by a 500-gallon smoker full of pork. Dinner that night was community style: campers, neighbors, friends and family. We had pork, homemade macaroni and cheese, all the fixings and homemade vanilla ice cream. The campsite was easily accessible and the host was waiting to guide us in. Although a bit cool, we enjoyed a dip in the beautiful saltwater pool. Camp Joey is a rustic setting with farm animals and roosters crowing. The newest addition is a litter of piglets. One of the other campers treated us to homemade authentic Greek baklava and we enjoyed s'mores by the campfire. There is an old-fashioned sense of a homestead community here. If that's for you, I would highly recommend a stay.
We love staying at Camp Joey! This is a beautiful spot to camp with your family. Now that the weather is warming up the pool is open and it’s fantastic! This homestead is a private and quiet place to relax amongst nature with great amenities and a welcoming host. Highly recommend!
This was our very first Hipcamp and what a fantastic experience we had at Camp Joey. The host Joe greeted us on arrival and made sure we were all situated with our 39 foot super C and our 24 foot trailer. He made us feel at home on his beautiful farm.. our dog Toby enjoyed being off leash roaming around with the roosters, hens and turkeys. The nights were peaceful and the site was convenient to where we were visiting. If we are ever in this area again we would definitely come back again.

If you’re looking for privacy with a couple of friendly neighbors, you’ll find it here!! Our dog enjoyed being off leash and making friends with the chickens, hogs and beautiful white turkey!! Thank you Joey for your kindness and hospitality!!!
We have had nothing but good experiences staying at Camp Joey. I would highly recommend! The amenities are plentiful, my dogs are happy and able to run around off leash, and the host is always incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
Joe is a welcoming and gracious host. He’s been helpful if we ever need anything but we also feel like we have our privacy. This has been a great spot to stay with the dogs! Highly recommend!
