Site 5 - Humes Hill Farm
Peaceful stay, great hiking
Very nice 3rd stay at Humes Hill, site 5. Toyota Highlander with TC Teardrop navigated in nicely. Very peaceful there, even second night with folks staying at the adjacent (but well out of sight) site #6. Hiked People's State Forest-extremely nice this time of year, lots to see. Followed by a trip to Norbrook Brewery for a beer and the foodtruck. Strongly recommend visiting there-lots of outdoor seating, disc golf, cornhole, horseshoes, mtn biking trails, really nice vista.

Site 2 - Humes Hill Farm
Rancho Relaxo!
Really beautiful property, nice to hike your stuff in while being close enough to run back to the car if that’s your thing.
We stayed at site 2 which was great for 5 people and 4 tents. In the future we will bring more people and combine with site 1 for an upper and lower camp. Wood was provided for a free, and there was ample wood on the site if you have a saw or axe.
This is our second time here and we will be back to the Rancho Relaxo soon!

Site 5 - Humes Hill Farm
Camp in privacy with your dogs
Campsite 5: We loved the privacy and remoteness of this campsite with our 2 dogs. We explored the old growth forest that surrounds the campsite and enjoyed hearing the Barred Owls and coyotes, which we heard almost every night. The site is crisscrossed with old stone walls, and we wondered about the history of the property. It was great to get away from all the noise of traffic and people for a while. Thanks for the experience!

The site was very peaceful and offered plenty of privacy. It was accessible and reasonably close to the road, but we could still hear the crickets chirp. We had a great time!

Great campsite
Amazing camping experience. Our family (including our dog) had a wonderful weekend camping at Humes Hill Farms. Addison was a very responsive and helpful host. We will definitely be back and our kids are already asking for when we can return. It was really nice to be able to drive back to the campsite (with our 4x4) and the site was spacious and well maintained. Absolutely recommend Humes Hill Farms.

A great secluded spot if you want to drive your 4x4 into site 5 or 6. Beautiful part of CT. It was a very peaceful spot all night. Nice to have a fire pit already set up. Will be back again.

Site 5 - Humes Hill Farm
Second time at site 5 but now with a 7 yr old. Despite the rain we still had an enjoyable stay and my kid wanted to go back. What I did notice is that the trees at this time of the year provides a good amount of cover from the rain, and the road going in and out of the sites are not muddy at all because of the pine needles covering the ground. The sound of the rain by a crackling fire is worth a million bucks for the soul

The Perfect Campground!
Absolutely LOVED this campsite. We stayed in Site 5 and it was perfect. Secluded, roomy, clean and also just beautiful. We are always looking for secluded and quiet places to camp and this was just that. Couldn't recommend it more! Also, major bonus we were able to take our pup Disco.

We loved our short stay here! It was about a 10 minute walk from the car to the site with plenty of privacy and a big clearing to choose our tent spot. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming!

Great spot for a quick camp out
Addison was there to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. He checked in to be sure we found our remote site via text. Everything was great. The campsite had a great fire pit fully stocked and set (for an extra fee) and plenty of space for tents. Hammock camping was a bit more challenging to find suitable spot off a trail. A quiet, great spot. Recommend if you want to be away from it all without trekking too far into the woods.

Excellent second stay, this time at site 5. Middle of the peaceful woods. No problem accessing with Highlander and teardrop in tow. A really nice firepit was set up ready to light! Go to the Norbrook Farm brewery. Outstanding and 8 min away!

Beautiful property, amazing stay!
What an amazing place! We loved every minute of our stay at Addison’s property! It was beautifully maintained and private with plenty of room to set up camp comfortably. We loved hearing the owls at night and woodpeckers during the day. Addison was very responsive and super welcoming. He made sure we had plenty of firewood and were comfortable at our site. Definitely a gem of a location and we can’t wait to visit again!

Site 5 - Humes Hill Farm
Worry-free camping!!!
Addison’s property is the perfect blend of feeling off the grid but not far from help. Grounds are well kept, private, and safe even for first time campers. The drive to site 5 and 6 is a relatively short trail, and with some sensible and slow driving, you won’t need 4x4 or an AWD unless it gets muddy. Addison gave me everything that I needed to find the trail, firewood, and very minimal communication during my stay. It gave me the privacy that I needed and I truly appreciate that. Note that I came across a few little stumps on the ground that you may trip over. I suggest you park over it. Other than that this site has everything you can want for a camping trip that isn’t quite the expedition. Will be coming back for sure.

Clean, well maintained, discreet
Best campground I’ve been to! Nothing at hand, which is what I look for when camping. There was some fire wood available on site, and the Hipcamper showed up (discreetly and politely) offering more firewood if we needed. Also, place is super clear and well looked after. Might need a 4x4 if rainy, but AWD will do if weather is okay! Nice place, very private and not noisy at all… just the sound of nature!

Site 5 - Humes Hill Farm
Great space for tent camping. Even though there was 2inches of snow the ground, they had cleared the snow for a place for us to put our tent prior to our arrival. The wood that we bought was laid out nicely next to the fire pit and there was already some stacked in the fire pit ready for us to light it up! 10/10 recommend!
