Water Tower
This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever glamped. There is so much thought that goes into all the glampsites on the property. The communal kitchen is by far my favorite aspect. The pizza oven, the taps, and the abundance of kitchenware to cook are amazing! The fire pit, sauna, and soon-to-come hot tubs are so wonderful! It is such a magical place you don't need to leave to find other things to do! I highly recommend this property and Deja! She is a wonderful human and so accommodating! I can't wait to come back!

Sierra Sol Main Cabin
Unique place for a group gathering
My husband, 2 kids, mom, cousins, my son's friends and I went on a glamping getaway to Sierra Sol Camp in October for my son's birthday and we had a marvelous time. My 15-yr-old and 4 of his friends slept very comfortably in the main cabin. It was great to have that extra kitchen, in addition to the communal one, for such a big group (there were 12 of us in total). My husband, 11-yr-old and I slept in the Rise and Shine yurt, my cousin and her 2 kids slept in the Diva Den, and my mom slept in the water tower. The communal zone (kitchen/dining area/bar/campfire structure) zone were awesome places to hang out as a group and we met other nice guests there to chat with. We had an excellent time at a beautiful swimming hole during the day (got a little lost when trying to find it, traipsed in the wrong direction once on the river, but it was so worth the effort). Look forward to coming back!

Daisy Belle
Incredible- the kid, hubs, dogs and I had a blast. We took full advantage of the outdoor kitchen, filled with all the essential utensils and tools (even a French press). This truly felt like a safe space, I utilized the sauna and read a book in a cozy comfy chair in the morning, bathed my son in the outdoor bath, hot water showered. We made pizza dough and pizzas with Jay, what a guy !!! The canvas tent was perfect with Blankets and pillows. This was true clamping, immersed in forestry, made with love. My heart is so full. Thank you Deja!

Composting life from the city!!
It was a great weekend we had. Everything was well labeled. Everyone campers and hosts was so nice with a lot of info. I will miss the chats at the communal kitchen. And heated outdoor shower experience was a nice touch. Would be ideal for large gatherings. Host are great specially when responding to all of our questions. Overall it’s great experience definitely will comeback and recommend it to friends.

Great location near so many great river spots on South Yuba. Cool property with an amazing wood-fired sauna. The shared outdoor kitchen was pretty nice too. There’s a lot of rentals on the property, which i didn’t realize at the time of booking. So worth noting as weekends can be busy with lots of folks. Otherwise would stay here again.

Yurt in the Orchard
Super gorgeous spot. We stayed in the yurt which felt like home but everything on the property is beautiful and meaningful. This was one of the coolest spots I’ve been to. Would love to go back again.

Water Tower
Beautiful property and amazing experience! We stayed in the water tower (a little warm but only due to heatwave of 100+ outside- there is a fan and a mini ac unit). The outdoor communal space (kitchen, fire pit etc) is so welcoming and perfectly thought out. So many amazing amenities like a sauna, outdoor tubs and outdoor shower (Heated!!), chicken coop with fresh eggs, lots of hammocks/swings to lounge on. The property itself is well taken care of, extremely clean, so many personal touches and just inspiring.
There are several other buildings people stay in (yurts/houses/etc) but we felt like we had enough privacy in our own space and loved meeting the other campers. The dogs on the property are so friendly and sweet. We didn’t get to meet Deja unfortunately but J was amazing and even did a pizza making tutorial- booommmbbbbb! Thank you SO much! Can’t wait to come back!!

Sierra Sol Main Cabin
Our family of three teen boys, a kindergartner, and two big dogs, as well as my husband and I, LOVED staying in the big house!! It had everything we needed, was beautifully decorated, and was so comfortable that we can’t wait to come back again. The added community of all the other people and dogs staying on the property made for wonderful company and an exceptional experience. The outdoor pizza oven and Jay, the extremely knowledgeable and kind pizza master, also made our Labor Day Weekend the most special time. Not to miss: Oregon Creek for swimming! This place exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!

Nothing with the host. I’d give it like 3/5 maybe 3.5 stars. The room was just badly ventilated and it was so stuffy even after the sun went down. Our allergies kicked in so hard seconds after walking in. There’s two tiny fans though.

Stayed in the Daisy Belle tent, which was clean, comfortable, and private. We had a ladies' weekend and took over the whole property. The common areas were perfect for hanging out, cooking together, dancing, etc. Was a super hot weekend in August, but the tent felt good at night.

Jay was an awesome host and would ensure you were taken care of. His pizzas were killer! The two dogs on site made for a nice camping experience and were so friendly. The kitchen hangout area was incredible. I injured myself and Jay was so kind to make me a papaya smoothie to help with inflammation. He really went over and beyond and fixed anything that needed fixing right away. Loved our stay!

Such a gem! This place is great for being in nature, yet having so many fun amenities. The outdoor claw foot tub is spectacular, and the sauna is great, if it's not too hot out. Jay is a great host, and will make pizza's in the wood fired stove for guests!

Quirky remote property
Great quirky property with lots of options for places to stay and sweet amenities such as a pizza oven, sauna, outdoor bathtub. Our tent was clean and the beds were definitely comfortable. The outdoor shower was beautiful. Jay, who manages the property, was friendly and fun. We came during the week and we were one of two or three guest so the vibe was pretty chill and interacting with the other guests in the common are was nice.
The cons were that it is a bit remote so bring everything you need if you don’t want to drive into Nevada City or Grass Valley. Also, the property could use some TLC. The poison oak has grown back on many of the paths and the dogs make some inconvenient choices about where they make their daily deposits.

Summer yurt rental with my kid
Yurt is super comfortable and outdoor kitchen is amazing! Even the compost toilets are clean and not bad at all. It was around 100 but the kitchen community area is comfortably shaded all morning and the river is cool and fantastic all afternoon. Fans in the yurt helped it cool by sleep time. Summer flies are annoying around kitchen but the fans helped there also. We stayed Sunday and Monday and were the only guests and loved it, but weekends sound pretty busy but fun if you like company.

Nearby is a beautiful reservoir I got to swim in! I met some nice people who were staying on the property as well. I had such a special time!

I rented out the Diva Den for my fiancés birthday and we had such a great time . From cooking to meeting new people to enjoying nature . Also , the reservoir was so close by so I loved that . We will definitely be coming back !

We loved staying in the yurt and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Jay was very helpful as a host and we loved using the sauna, cold plunge and pizza oven. Had a great time and would definitely come back!

Not private but great for groups
An interesting and artful location with multiple sites to offer. The water tower seems to booked less frequently than the other accommodations and is a delightful concept, but unfortunately lacks comfort on account of the heat trapped in the bedroom, and the space could be a bit cleaner. Additionally, we were a bit surprised by the fact that all amenities are communal, as the reviews and description seemed to suggest a more private setting. Overall great for a large group traveling together, but I don’t necessarily recommend for people looking for a more private experience.

Dog paradise
We loved Deja’s land! A true dog paradise. Summer camp for your dog! Our tent was comfortable and the bed was great. The best part was the communal kitchen area where we met other campers. Our dog had the time of her life off leash with about 9 other dogs vacationing there. The biggest hit was J, the grounds man who made us pizza both nights!

Had an awesome stay at Deja's property. The yurt was very clean and comfortable, outdoor shared kitchen amazing and best of all was making new connections with Deja and Jay as well as the other guests. Definitely recommend to friends and other hipcampers!
