As full-time RV nomads ourselves we know RV park rates are getting crazy, Buck Acres is our attempt to help the community. We've done everything we can to keep rates down. The only amenities we offer are shade, Wi-Fi, electricity, water, and an ADA porta john that is cleaned every week. Affordable RV parks shouldn't be sweltering parking lots where you're packed in like sardines! At Buck Acres we have 100' tall hardwoods and pines that have been trimmed up 60' for the safety of you and your rig! Buck Acres is still under construction and it is a labor of love. On the second floor are located all the bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an office and the laundry area with washer and dryer, also we provide towels. When we have guests you are the only one to use the backyard, pool, hot tub, ping pong table and grill.

When you stay in one of our inflatable bubbles on the farm with an enormous pool, not only do you get to experience something new and exciting, you also have access to so many fun things to do! The coolest part? The top is transparent, so you can fall asleep wishing on a star. This inflatable bubble is anchored to a sturdy wooden deck and inflated with an air blower. There is a retractable awning that covers each bubble reducing the green-house effect during the daytime and can be opened to reveal the beautiful skyline during the day or the wonderous starlit sky at night. Inside you’ll find a cozy king bed that can comfortably sleep up to three guests (2 adults and 1 child). There is air conditioning and heating inside as well as a full private bathroom. The bathroom even has a clawfoot tub! Toiletries are provided for you during your stay. The bubble is located in Sam Houston National Forest on a beautiful ranchette of almost 8 acres. On the ranchette you’ll be able to see chickens, turkeys (seasonal), goats, pigs, rabbits, and a garden near the home as well as livestock grazing in the pastures. Wildlife is present in the forest, so there are some food restrictions inside the bubble to keep you safe. (See “rules to keep in mind”) A pathway that is clear during the day and perfectly lit for your convenience at night takes you directly to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. There, you will have access to a BBQ pit, an outdoor pavilion, pool, hot tub, and pool house. If you’d like to have some fun, games like corn hole, oversized connect-four, water volleyball, and horseshoes for you to enjoy. If you’d like to relax, kick back in a hammock and take a nap in the fresh breeze. The fire pit is open to all guests! Feel free to make s’mores, hot dogs, burgers, or whatever you’d like! One septic hookup is available No toilet is available there yet. There is a septic dump. Adjacent to this area is a private pond for fishing. Off road vehicles are welcome. Lake Conroe is located about 6 miles west. The Sam Houston National Forest entrance is about 18 miles north. Beyond the national forest is Huntsville and Sam Houston State University 24 miles. To the East is Lake Livingston 35 miles and a continuation of the national forest. To the south are the cities of Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, and Houston. Downtown Houston is about 49 miles away.
