I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020. I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town. As I learn things, I hope to share the information with anyone that may be interested. Learn more about this land: Peace, quiet, alone time or get away from the hustle. Located in the Ozark's.  No freeways for miles. Lots to do around and at edge of small town community. I will be setting up the horseshoe pits soon and have board games as well as cards.  I enjoy and look forward to sharing the beautiful land I live on. The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .   I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for.  Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure.  There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

Weekend Trip to Shipps Landing White River

We had a wonderful, quiet stay here. Unfortunately, there is a severe drought and the creek wasn’t running but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn’t even mind. The river is a hop skip and a jump from our camping spot so we ran down to take a look and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, it is worth taking the trails! We would definitely come back and encourage others to enjoy this property as well.

Weekend Trip to Williams Camp : Eleven Point River

We reserved the entire Williams camp for float trip group and it worked great! Had 4 campers setup and half dozen tents. Water and electric worked great also! Floated the eleven point river with Hufstedlars outfit. They were able to pickup/dropoff at our location, which is clutch, nobody had to drive after the float. It was really nice to have a place for our group all by ourselves, very secluded but still easily accessible. Phone service was 50/50 for some of us, but personally my phone worked well the entire time while at the campsite. You are definitely in the woods, so be ready with the bug spray and tick prevention. Overall, my group of 18 had a great experience here, we would def reserve this again when we come back to the 11pt River.

If you are looking for a beautiful campground with choices of cabins and primitive camping I highly recommend CRC! Not only was every person nice and hospitable, but they also recommended other sights to visit that was close by. My friends and I will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Scott Family Farm & Retreat

Very nice place. Google maps will not bring you there, do not use maps, use their description in their message they send you. Way faster!! Nice sandy beach, creekside , very clear clean water. We walked in the water to fish for an hour. The water is not cold at all. Most of it may be 12 inches deep to at the most waist deep. The entrance to their property is a water crossing but pretty. Playground set, outhouse, plenty of shade. No Internet access at all our ATT phones didnt have any. Pretty mountains in the background. Nice owners we met on arrival. Will definitely stay again.

4 nights at Unwind In The Ozarks, Hot Tub/Pool

We arrived with a tent and I’m not sure where some expectation or site description might have missed each other but there were no tenting bathroom/shower facilities available, but Al worked happily with us to figure it out The site is beautiful, plenty of frog insect and bird song to sleep and wake up to, the hot tub is crazy hot like REALLY hot, and our host showed us a true heart of hospitality in making sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The next time we’re in the area we’ll be sure to book again and just make sure we grab one of the spacious on site RV Airbnb’s Lovely stay

Abby, her husband, and their delightful family made our stay at Pioneer Lane Farm an absolute pleasure! Their communication was top-notch, always quick to respond and full of helpful tips. The children were incredibly polite and added a warm, welcoming vibe to the experience. The property itself is a stunning oasis—lush green fields, towering trees, and a serene ambiance that instantly melted away any stress. Safety was never a concern, thanks to the well-maintained grounds. The friendly, beautiful dog was the cherry on top, greeting us with wagging tails and endless charm. This peaceful retreat is perfect for unwinding, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. I can’t wait to return and would wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family!

Beautiful, peaceful spot to camp beside the water! The kids liked the rock steps down to the water and had fun playing on the playground. The fire pit encircled by lights was lovely. The outhouse was clean and smelled of fresh cedar. The host did a nice job preparing for us by freshly mowing the grass. They also were very quick to respond and offer assistance when we had trouble with directions. We enjoyed our stay!
