We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.
Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

We are a small, peaceful. secluded campsite bordered by woodland and a stream, set amidst the wildlife country of the Ceredigion countryside on the edge of the Cambrian mountains. With only 20 camping pitches and 'The Bothy' shepherd's hut, Teifi Meadows is a place to relax, unwind and appreciate the calming beauty of nature. This is a dark sky zone with stunning celestial views on clear nights, and near-zero light pollution as well as pristine air and water quality. Our guests tend to appreciate the quiet stillness here and we don't have a lot of disturbances...so all you will hear is the wind, the birds, the rushing streams and perhaps the odd cow! :)
Everyone, even the cynical, should have a little romance in their lives. Especially if it includes a scenic setting with easy access to local pubs (a holiday extra that thaws the icy hearts of the cynical even more than blazing sunsets). Teifi Meadows should warm the battery of your camera as well as the cockles of your heart: this is wildlife country – look out for red kites overhead – in the midst of the greenery of the Ceredigion countryside, and close to the walks, dolphin spotting and beaches of the stunning west coast and Cardigan Bay. National Trust sites, River Teifi fishing and canoeing, mountain pony trekking, Roman gold mines and blooming great gardens are in the area too. Lampeter, about three miles away, has plenty of food shops, independent stores and a farmers’ market, and the pub at Cellan, also three miles away, serves food and Sunday lunches - another romantic highlight…

Immerse yourself in nature away from the crowds in our unique, rustic and cosy cabin set in a secluded copse amongst nature. The ideal place to tour Cornwall, or simply shut yourself away to escape and recharge your batteries.
Sit, relax and watch dragonflies dance over the pond, listen to the birds, bees and butterflies breathing in the fresh moorland air.
We have a beautiful wild flower meadow, woodland paths and an area outside the shack with seating and pond.
We would love to, but cannot accept dogs due to the wildlife pond in front of the shack and free ranging chickens. If you would like to bring other pets or very small dogs who don’t like water just please ask.
We are be happy to accommodate parents with babies or toddlers, if requested in advance so we can put safety features in place.
Older children are welcome, but to ensure they get the most out of their stay please request before booking as there is no facility for extra beds.
Please note, the shack is chilly in Winter without the wood burner lit.
If you don’t feel confident using the wood burner which makes it super toasty, then please reconsider your stay. There is a modern electric fire and bathroom towel rail/radiator. Heated blankets on the bed, rugs and throws are provided.
We have installed WiFi and you can receive good phone signal and 4G on most networks.
It is a short walk (150m?) to ‘off the beaten shack’, it is sometimes wet and muddy underfoot, but a wood chip pathway leads to the shack. It would not suit those with limited mobility.
Local produce and Food Hampers are available but best be ordered minimum 48hrs in advance.
Good quality Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and sugar provided.
Large basket of logs and kindling is supplied (extra available to buy).
Organic Eggs from our free ranging chickens available to buy.
