Lovely rural sight with lots of choice of pitches. Although you have to choose before you go so you may not realize how close to the toilets you'll be or whether you are in an exposed spot. We got a strong wind up the top, but it was October. There are great views from the top field.
The toilets and shower facilities are very good and spotless.
There is a beautiful ( but not easy) walk down through the woods to the sandy burroughs and beach, which was difficult for us with some physical disabilities. You could not get a wheel chair down there.
Great place for people who love walking, nature and rare plants. Great for families.

brilliant place to stay, very relaxed there but if you need anything they was there. me and my partner stayed here with our 2 daughters and our dog and it was 100% one of the best places we have been to, great veiws, great facilities. all in all will 100% be staying again and maybe try the other cabins.

Look no further – just book it! The site was spotless and really well-kept, with a lovely play area that kept the kids happy. It’s perfectly located, close to amazing spots like the rocky valleys and Tarr Steps, with stunning surroundings all around. Alex was absolutely amazing – so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. If you’re looking for a place around North Devon, this is definitely it. We can’t wait to come back!

WOW! We have just returned from a 3 night stay, and I’m hesitant to write this… only because I don’t know if I want the world to discover this little haven we will now forever adopt as our own, BUT that would be selfish, and Peter deserves all the recognition for the pure love that has been poured into every detail of this little, beautiful campsite. The site is well taken care of with little trails that lead you to little secluded spots and to the larger field that is immaculately conserved with trees surrounding the space. We recommend you use an app that helps you identify all the birds because the bird song there is truly wild, loud and varied. There is a lovely little lake at the bottom of the site that is being preserved for the wildlife, with so much activity to be witnessed even in the short time we spent walking around it. The toilets are regularly maintained and super clean. The showers were hot, clean and in a separate block to the toilets. All brought together with a really well designed aesthetic as well as made incredibly functional. Both carry through the eco ethos and are stocked with environmentally considered products in case your own dont fit the bill. Peter (aka Grumpy Farmer who is an absolutely beautiful soul) was always on hand to come and help if need be, always seemingly working on the site on more beautiful features, projects that work with the campsite, like food banks, community growing and forest school. We will return. Yearly.

We booked a weekend stay with our daughter and it was lovely, very peaceful and calm. She loved feeding the pigs! The hot tub stays hot for a long time once you’ve got it going so worth firing it up nice abs early. The site owners were always around and really helpful too.

What an incredible stay at this working farm campsite in North Devon! From the moment we arrived, Nick made us feel completely welcome with her warm, relaxed approach. She strikes the perfect balance - always visible and ready to help with anything you need, while having thoughtfully designed the campsite so that most of your needs are already taken care of without having to ask.
The practical touches really stood out: the double-space fridge was brilliant for longer stays, and the honesty box system for the washer and dryer worked seamlessly. The shower block deserves special mention - spacious enough for whole families, spotlessly clean, and with excellent water pressure and hot water. Perfect for families with children.
What makes this place truly magical is being on a genuine working farm. The animals are integrated naturally into the campsite environment, and there's a wonderful freedom to wander around and observe them respectfully. No overly officious rules - just common sense and respect for the animals and farm life. The views across the Devon countryside are absolutely stunning.
Nick herself was exceptional throughout our stay - her genuine care for guests and attention to detail really shows. We're already planning our return visit!
Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic farm experience with excellent facilities and the warmest of welcomes.

Lovely patch of tranquility with the sound of the water and nextdoor horses neighing every so often. A very quiet area with minimal traffic so you can fall asleep to the sound of nature every night✨
The camping area itself is well kept with lots of space for all sorts of configurations for all your camping set up needs. The pond is gorgeous too for those brave enough for a dip but there's also a bench for those of us who simply enjoy just looking at them.
Dennis was a wonderful host throughout it all I cannot credit him more for being so fabulous and patient! He went out of his way multiple times for us just because he's a great bloke and gave us some great recommendations for local things to do.
We will be back again for sure! I had the most wonderful birthday trip in this little slice of heaven :)

Absolutely delightful stay steeped in the quiet rolling hills of Carmarthenshire. The dome is set away from the rest of the site so you're surrounded by fields and woodland. Michael is a very attentive and lovely host. The dome felt very spacious even with 4 of us in it. Beds were super comfy and we loved having a campfire into the evening. The showers and compost toilets were some of the best we've used as seasoned campers. We loved the ducks and chicks and the butterflies in the lavender and dancing through the fields. A beautiful place to find peace and rest. Thank you Michael 🙂

It was nice having a bit of privacy being tucked away in a little nook of the farm. The view was beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful at night I didn't even need to sleep with my earplugs like I normally do. They had a handy little freezer for iceblocks. The toilet and shower was spacious and clean. Really nice washing up area too. I didn't realize how well stocked the farm shop was! It's got everything! Vegan tinned food, plant based milks, lot of chocolate, vegetable and all your store cupboard staples. And its open 24/7 so you can pick up supplies whenever and then create a tab in the book and pay at the end. When I initially set up my tent I was a little worried because there was only a few inches of soil before I hit rock so if it got really windy I was worried about pegs coming out, especially with my tarp but because it was so sheltered and the weather being mild I was fine.
