Facilities are simple and low-impact, with a compost toilet and a water point provided. There is no electricity, no showers and no Wi-Fi — a delightfully off-grid setting designed for those who value peace, space and time outdoors.

Fabulous 3-field site, fantastically located and very quiet after the August Bank Holiday. Cleanest showers, toilets and guest hut with very friendly and helpful hosts. I'd say more, but it's supposed to be a secret.

We had a wonderful time here, with a beautiful seaside view and the added bonus of catching the sunset in a truly special way. The facilities were excellent – clean toilets, hot showers, and the option to buy a bundle of logs and a fire pit, which made the evenings extra enjoyable. It was also nice to have plenty of space between pitches, giving us a relaxed and comfortable stay. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, which added to the experience.
The only downside was the mobile network coverage – it only worked when we were close to the facilities, but there was no signal at the pitch itself, so it’s good to be prepared for that. Other than that, everything was perfect. Definitely 5 stars from us.

What a wonderful find. Relatively close for a camping site to lots of local amenities and all of the wonderful opportunities that Croyde, Saunton and Wollacombe offer for jut getting out there and calling. The campsite is well maintained and good value. Steve is so knowledgeable and informative and will guide you through what to do and see.

The campsite overlooks a breathtaking view, quite remote from the busyness of life. Not ideal for surfing as need to drive a bit to a surf beach. However ideal to get away and unwind with nature and explore what the Tarka Trail has to offer . V clean and well looked after.

The view is spectacular and the site has easy access to coastal walkways and Heddon's Mouth. Great toilet/shower and washing up facilities - clearly well thought out and maintained. Will likely be back - it was also cool to go see the alpacas. We didn't stay here for the peak of the Perseids - but the night after and it was great star and meteor gazing!
Be mindful that the campsite is very open so it gets the wind! We had a teepee type tent (we were just car tripping around) and it was not suitable for wind exposure but nothing wild just to keep in mind!

The views are stunning and the surrounding nature made for a truly relaxing stay. There are alpacas on site, which was such a joy to see. The facilities were spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed, including hot water. You can really tell the hosts care about the place. Highly recommend,

Great campsite. Clean facilities. Lots of space with great views! Toilet is a bit of a walk though if you’re in the far field! The coast walk to heddons mouth beach is about 1 hour 10 min (with kids) but beware of the walk as my dog came back with 6 ticks!

What an incredible stay at this working farm campsite in North Devon! From the moment we arrived, Nick made us feel completely welcome with her warm, relaxed approach. She strikes the perfect balance - always visible and ready to help with anything you need, while having thoughtfully designed the campsite so that most of your needs are already taken care of without having to ask.
The practical touches really stood out: the double-space fridge was brilliant for longer stays, and the honesty box system for the washer and dryer worked seamlessly. The shower block deserves special mention - spacious enough for whole families, spotlessly clean, and with excellent water pressure and hot water. Perfect for families with children.
What makes this place truly magical is being on a genuine working farm. The animals are integrated naturally into the campsite environment, and there's a wonderful freedom to wander around and observe them respectfully. No overly officious rules - just common sense and respect for the animals and farm life. The views across the Devon countryside are absolutely stunning.
Nick herself was exceptional throughout our stay - her genuine care for guests and attention to detail really shows. We're already planning our return visit!
Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic farm experience with excellent facilities and the warmest of welcomes.

best views i've seen at a campsite along the hillside overlooking some amazing cliffs with clean toilets and warm showers. It is very remote and takes about 10 minutes drive to get to the nearest cafe. maybe 15-20 mins to get to a shop! Main downside is being so up high on a cliff edge the wind was pretty relentless even on a nice warm summer day we were cold most of the trip and struggled to light a BBQ or fire. it made cooking and sitting out at night a bit of a pain and we ended up sheltering most of then night.
