3 nights at Cwmffrwd Farm Campsite

Cwmffrwd Farm is a magical place. Somewhere we definitely want to come back to. The campsite is peaceful and beautiful. Pridie is a wonderful host running farm and campsite in harmony with nature with composting loos and no vehicles on the field. The sauna is a hidden jem we enjoyed enormously on a rather wet and windy day. Magic!

There is a great view beyond but it’s only really viewable from the upper camps which are for tents only. Not much of a view of the surrounding area for campervans but the wildflower meadow itself is lovely Vans will need leveling blocks as it is on a slope for the most part. The Host was lovely and was very accommodating and allowed us to use more space than allocated as they were not very busy over glasto weekend. I would recommend it, it’s a lovely fairly priced nature escape with everything you need.

Perfect location for the group I was with. Easy location to find, well laid out and great facilities. On site trailer cafe for simple meals and brews...amazing ice cream. Toilets and showers clean and well serviced, a site shared fridge and freezer added to the amenities. You are right on the border between England and Wales, with the river Teme a stones throw away in a beautifully lush valley. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved Norman’s campsite. All the pitches were individual and generously spaced out. Lots of privacy. The facilities were great too. Perfect location for endless coastal path walks. Have recommended it to so many friends already.

Lovely campsite, very picturesque and all other guests respectful. Right on the Offa's Dyke so an easy place to go for a walk from. Also a pretty little (10 min) walk to Knighton where there are a number of pubs and shops. Firepits and logs were for sale/rent at £5 each. Cafe on site great for some breakfast or lunch

Lovely site, peaceful yet great facilities. Lovely walk down bridlepaths and lanes straight from the site to Slapton Ley & the beach.

2 nights at Eden's Nook

This was such a quiet, lovely location! It was near to one of the access points for Glyndwr’s Way so we were able to hike a nice section of the trail. Clean facilities and super easy to find with responsive, friendly hosts - a good spot to unwind! The field for tent pitches was enclosed and we actually had the place to ourselves so our dogs could wander without worry - really enjoyed our stay here.

Such a stunningly beautiful site! The view is out of this world, and the hosts are so friendly and helpful ( I forgot a saucepan and they lent me one of theirs!). It's fairly basic and small enough that you don't get hoardes, or many big groups, but has everything you need: hot showers, flushing toilets, a washing up area, and little shelter with a fridge, freezer and electricity. It can get pretty windy and exposed up there, but it's pretty much right on the coast path, and you can walk the mile down into Combe Martin fairly easily (30 minutes, although the way back up is a bit harder and longer!!). This was my second time and it's so worth it, I'll definitely be back again!

Beautiful site, the view is spectacular. Facilities are clean, hot showers, and there's a really handy hut for wet weather complete with fridge/freezer and sockets in case you need to charge your phone etc. Also really close to the coast path. Loved our stay :)

Great welcome from Andy. The site is very peaceful with good kayaking. Facilities are a bit basic but adequate. The kitchen area is well equipped with gas stove, drinks and condiments to help with cooking. Fire pits and wood readily available. Only comments other than that would be that the signage could be improved and branches over the entrance road should be cut back. Overall a very nice stay here.

The views have to be seen to be believed! Fab sunset spot too. Owners friendly and helpful. Facilities kept clean and pleasant. Fantastic area, north Devon has a huge amount to offer. Along with the views you may also get wind but it certainly wouldn’t stop us from visiting again!

Absolutely loved camping on Roxanne’s land! The host was extremely friendly, the facilities were fantastic and the views were incredible. We camped in a group of 8 adults and it was a more than reasonable price to pitch up 4 tents. Would definitely go back and would absolutely recommend!

Gorgeous location and perfect spot for sunsets. Beaches in reach of a decent walk away and plenty to do nearby if you've got a car. Lesley was lovely and had good local recommendations. The facilities were spotlessly clean! Warm shower and the fridge was appreciated.
