Thorny Bush

Thorny Bush is in a lovely rural location yet close to many beaches and local attractions. With only 2 pitches our campsite is unique, quiet and relaxing. There are several log cabins on site, perfect if some family members do not wish to camp but want to come on holiday too.  
There are private fields where you can walk your dog and woodland with streams that you can explore.

Four Little Trees

Set on our 40 acre smallholding which slopes down from the ridge which overlooks Haverfordwest and the Preseli mountains through the woodland  to the saltings along the edge of the Western Cleddau. The holding is managed for conservation. There are lots of places to explore.  You can explore the stream which trickles down the woods.  There is about 11 acres of woodland, and about the same area of salting.  A disused limestone quarry forms our own private secret water, It is a great place to watch badgers.   We allow bonfires to be made in designated places. If you are by the river at the right time you can catch Bass  and spot kingfishers and if you are really fortunate you can see seals and otters.   

There is plenty of wildlife here. On a fine day the buzzards are always overhead and the river full of duck and waders. Red Kites are here particularly in the Spring. We have even spotted an Osprey on the river complete with a large fish its claws. You can walk to town along the river – or walk down river  to Little Milford and Hook.

Mehefin Coed

Hello and welcome to Llwyn Celyn’s “Mehefin Coed” and a little bit of paradise, we really don’t want to share.
June and I (Laurence) Tree hope you enjoy your stay in our vintage motor home, parked up in a setting that invokes (we hope) the off road country lane hide away meets beach and secluded back garden feel.
Llwyn Celyn – Like hundreds like it, is a small holding, a farm of some 12 acres, these days it is still farmed, though very quiet with only the sound of sheep from our family folk, and is set midst a small hamlet of ten other holdings.
Llwyn Celyn’s “Mehefin Coed” is situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire’s National Park – The Preseli Mountain Range and birth place of Wiltshire’s “Stonehenge” and their blue stones, to which the quarries can be seen and walked to a few minutes away from Mehefin Coed.
From our pictures, we hope, they give you a sense of relaxation and to forget the World outside away from our part of the UKs wonderful Pembrokeshire.

Spring Lakes, 40 acres of beautiful and tranquil space with a large fishing lake, a natural woodland to enjoy and explore set within the hamlet of Eastcott, 6 miles North of the stunning coastal town of Bude, Cornwall.

With easy access to some of the most beautiful parts that Cornwall has to offer as well as being a short drive into North and Central areas of Devon.

With a drive towards environmental sustainability, our aim at Spring Lakes is to always consider our impact on the local environment wherever possible. As soon as the opportunities align to “going green” Spring Lakes will take the required steps to “do the right thing”, to help future generations of campers.

We are passionate about green space and considered development, but also need to balance this with commercial realism. We have created a local business with an aim to creating local employment and supporting other local business in a sustainable way. A stay or visit to Spring lakes is a stay or visit that contributes to its localised objectives and our success will filter into the local community it acts to enhance and serve.  Spring lakes welcomes everyone with an outdoor enthusiasm be it a camper or glamper, a caravan or motorhome tourer, an angler, a hiker or rambler, mountain bike, gravel bike, road bike enthusiast, a day visitor, coffee connoisseur or wild ride surfer. You are all welcome and will be treated to a break and experience to remember.

On Site facilities include, composite toilets, outdoor shower shack, dish washing area, Drinking Water Tap, Wash down tap/hose, Chemical disposal point. Refuse bins. (General & Mixed Waste) Dog waste bin. Non electric site.

We allow off the ground BBQ’s and provide a communal campfire.

We do not allow fires at the pitches, we have created a communal open fire zone where you can light a fire and congregate there as a social meeting point, this is open to all so please accept other people could join you when in this location.

We sell camping basics onsite such as firelighters, matches, charcoal, and fresh free-range eggs to assist with provisions for you whilst with us, equally feel free to ask and we will be more than happy to accommodate for any reasonable requests.
