This isn’t a place for drive-in, drive-out holidays. It’s for staying, relaxing and enjoying nature. More 'nearly wild' in farming countryside, than manicured sectioned areas. Enclosed paddocks, no nearby roads, and only the gentle hum of a distant train from across the canal, this is countryside relaxation at its finest. Watch the canal boats drift by, or go for a walk or cycle on the network of paths beside them. If your feeling adventurous, take a paddleboard or canoe onto the water, or hire a longboat for the day. Walk to the nearby dog friendly, local pubs, or a short drive there are many options of restaurants, from country pubs to fine dining of all different cultures including takeaways. We are perfect for a technology detox, while we have electricity on site to charge your phones, there is no electric to the pitches. We loved camping in Katharine’s farm land! What an idyllic place, we practically had the whole field to ourselves, only shared with one other couple for one night. If you are looking for back to basics camping, with rural feeling, beautiful nature and peace - this is the place! Katherine and her partner were so lovely and accommodating, we really felt like at home. Enjoyed nice campfires at night, and beautiful starry skies. Our daughter loved seeing the chicken, sheep and horsies whom grazed the fields and area. Hereford is just a stone throws away and so many beautiful walks, villages and National Trust properties to visit nearby. Thank you so much!

Lovely quiet and well kept site. Would definitely recommend. Nice and peaceful location with private pitches for tourers and a large fairly flat field for camping. The dog walking field was an added bonus. 2x toilets and 2x showers for male and female visitors - were clean and modern. Washing up facilities and our touring pitch had electric and water. All good - would stay again. Good location for visiting different attractions and plenty of places to eat nearby.

We are a small basic 7 acre campsite in the Shropshire hills between the long mynd and the stipperstones great for wild camping. So offers great walks and mountain biking. Carding Mill Valley is just a short drive which is great place for exploring and playing in the streams or wild swimming in the reservoir. It is a simple site with toilets showers and we have a canteen with a kettle, fridge, microwave, tables and chairs, sink area and power. The campsite is on the side of a hill but there are pleanty of flat areas to pitch up. The campsite has lovely views of the surrounding area. We do allow fire's and can supply fire pits and wood. We have an undercover area which can be used as cover from rain, this area also has a pool table. We allow tents, caravans, motor homes, although dont have electric hookups. We can allow group bookings. We use the site for a festival once a year and the stage is a permanent structure as is the bar and medic cabins, these will not affect your stay in anyway just making you aware they are there.
