There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience. We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival. * We require a completed profile with a picture before we accept a booking.

Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them! -We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on. -There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on. -You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast. -Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup. -Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed. -WIFI is available closer to the communal area. LOCATION: 2 miles from downtown Buckley with Blue Max Meats and the Rainier Fresh Country Store for a quick trip down the road for groceries and less than 15 minute drive to Enumclaw with more restaurant options available and Bonney Lake also 15 minutes away with Costco, Fred Meyers etc.

David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. The off grid hot tub was unique and well worth the extra fee! Gary was so attentive and welcoming! Even though I came during a rainy time, the land was beautiful and whimsical. The staff there were all so accommodating and helped with anything I needed (firewood, the hot tub, heaters). The community kitchen was sooo much fun to use and the shower was amazing! It was fun to walk around and see the bunnies and chickens as well as see how hard the staff work to create more fun amenities for the future. Gary mills the wood himself and you can see how all of the structures are such a labor of love!

The cabin was larger than I expected! You enter into a large room with the main bed (bedding included), pullout couch, armchair and fireplace. Then there is the kitchen area with a good size dining table. Bathroom is right off the kitchen. No shower but that didn't bother us. Basic amenities for the kitchen is all provided and there are plenty of extra blankets. Just a PSA, your door code will be sent 30 minutes before the check in, we found ourselves worrying as the time got closer and closer!

We had a wonderful stay, sad we didn't get a longer visit. There is tons of places to explore and we would definitely love to come back. The folks were helpful, kind and welcoming. Definitely has a family friendly welcome. The yurt was warm even though it was pouring all night long. First night we left heat on low, second night we left it off. They have probably one of the most well appointed kitchens we have ever seen, big and roomy. There are games and books and seating. Big family style table for games and dining. Like home away from home with loads of hiking trails near by. We brought our dogs and they had a blast. Next time we come to visit I wont be in class all day. We cannot say enough about how beautiful it is in camp and the surrounding area. 100% recommend!

Our stay was even more magical than we could have imagined. The drive up felt like we were in Jurassic park (in the best way possible) and the views were insane. The cabin was cozy (heater included!) and the toilet and bath were extremely clean. Mary and Lloyd thought of all the details from a cute handwashing station to bath amenities (towels, soap, bath salts). We loved getting to know them and their sweet pup Leo. From the glowing rock paintings, the chickens and fresh eggs, bunnies, beautiful garden, the color and whimsy - It was absolutely perfect. The girls were able to run around the magical forest, dressed like fairies, homemade crowns and all. TJ was a volunteer at the time and he truly made the entire stay such a fun experience. He was helpful, kind, fun and truly just an amazing person. We can’t wait to visit again.

We have a 40 acre property at the end of 381st Street East. About 16 acres of hay pasture, 2 barns, the original 1910 farmhouse as well as the big lodge built in 1987. The RV is alongside the main lodge, to the left as you are looking at the garage. We have a fenced-in chicken paddock, fenced-in garden area, 2 horses living their best life as pets in the lower pasture, peafowl in the pole barn, and lots of wildlife around - finches, blackbirds, hummingbirds, barn swallows, doves, other song birds, Canadian geese, ducks, frogs, dragonflies, wild bunnies, field mice, bats, hawks, crows, occasional visits from a river otter family, an eagle, or a herd of elk (usually seen around dawn or dusk), and on the less desirable side we also have gophers, moles, voles, wasps and mosquitos - and the possibility of a coyote, mountain lion, or bear though those sightings are quite rare. You are welcome to roam the property and explore. Please don't enter the chicken paddocks, the peafowl enclosure, or the horse pasture for your safety and the animals' welfare. We typically have plenty of eggs from our chickens, who are fed a soy-free, corn-free diet with lots of table scraps - just let us know if you'd like us to stock the frig with some (available seasonally from spring to fall)! During the summer there may be garden produce available as well, and in August you are welcome to pick blackberries from the ever-present blackberry bushes that are found in many places around the property. Please take care around the pond - there are fish in there, and it's quite mucky. It's not suitable for swimming. There is no fence or gate around the pond - or the hot tub for that matter - so please watch your children carefully. We have an 8-person patio dining table and some comfy patio furniture out on the back deck of the lodge that we are happy to share with you, as well as a BBQ grill, fire pit, and hot tub.

West Perch – Smaller site with water and power, tucked along the western edge, pull through parking. Side Step – A simple park-n-camp offshoot along the lower driveway. Gully Vista – A hike-in, tent/hammock site, via a narrow trail down into the gullie. Most guests tent camp or bring vans. If your trailering, and the trailer weighs more than your 2WD tow vehicle, this place probably isn’t the best match. ✅ What Makes This Place Special: Backs up to 150+ acres of state timberland (10–20 year growth). Hunters: check regulations. Our new link trail connects to the Howell Lake ORV network—tight at first, then opens up. Trail map posted in outhouse. We’ve got firewood—might not be perfectly dry, but it burns. Bring kindling in wet seasons. Trash-free land. Please keep it clean. No glass (if you bring it, Do not break it). Howell Lake seasonal swimming hole nearby with rope swing. 2-mile hike (4/10 hardness) or 10-minute drive. Big night skies—great for moon/stargazing. Campground runs on solar. ⚠️ A Few Notes: Some sites have steep drops—stay alert, especially at night. 1-mile dirt driveway is bumpy—take it slow. 280ft water well, Fresh water, but passes through non drinking water rated tanks and lines so I can't legally recommend drinking it.
