Join us at Lakeside Escape, a wild apple Orchard set next to Plantations Lakes.
Roam this whole site and find Old Oak trees in our beautiful copse, 3 commercial fishing lakes to walk around, and a nature lake tucked away filled with lilies, birds darting in and around, and dragonflies to focus on and ground yourself.
Or just spend your time in our main wild orchard, this is filled with old apple trees wild flowers and has the Copse all down one side and mature tree lines on all the other 3. It is split in 4 so you have your own slice to enjoy with privacy and the feeling of seclusion and never many people on site at a time.
We have Robins rest which is our relaxation and hot tub area, this space is in the heart of the Orchard with comfy undercover seating for you to totally unwind, bird watch and relax. A 3hr session here is an additional £45.
The whole site has been designed to allow you to disconnect from the outside world and technology, to slow down and enjoy taking some time to connect with nature, yourself, and others in your group.
We call it camping with a touch of luxury. Enjoy a proper bed, mattress and seating and everything provided for your stay while getting that feeling of being in the heart of the countryside, going to sleep to stars by the fire pit and waking up to the rich birdsong. just bring clothes, towels and food!) The site is based in the village of Kingston Seymour, a lovely farming village with flat walks/cycles, sea wall to discover, multiple cafes to enjoy and just 10 minutes from the seaside town of Clevedon, or 30 minutes from Cheddar Gorge.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven.
Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements.
We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests!
We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay.
Litter:
You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are recycling bins on the campsite, it is your responsibility to recycle.
Pitches to be left as you found them.
Noise:
Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning.
No loud music is to be played at any time.
Children:
Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area.
Dogs:
Must not to be left unattended.
Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available).

Our ancient woodland is 15 acres with streams and a lake. There are fields of grazing sheep all around. We have just two camps. It is our first season and we will be very happy to hear your on the spot feedback. Help us develop a really good camping experience.
The two camps are at opposite ends of the woodland and are set up with two Tentsile tree tents each. It is quiet, peaceful and lovely, great for birdwatching. The Bannau Brycheiniog, (the Brecon Beacons) are a stone's throw away, you can see them from our property. The A40 and Llandovery train station are just minutes away.

We had a fantastic two night stay, enjoyed fishing in the beautiful lake. We were surprised to have such a good shower in a field! Great host, on hand if we needed anything. So good to sit round a fire pit, playing games and getting back to nature. Would definitely recommend.

Cedar cabin was absolutely immaculate it was nice and cozy on a hill which gave it the best view! The lake is incredibly stunning and filled with fish! My son also went fishing there and sadly had his fishing rod pulled in by a fish but the next morning the host went and found it. The host was so kind and welcoming 5/5 stars would highly recommend!

We stayed as a small family of three in the Cedar Cabin for my birthday and had a great time! The Cabin was cosy, tidy and in a great spot with views down the valley. Andrew helped us settle in and had some recommendations for places to visit. We had the fire pit one night and shamefully we struggled to keep a fire going, so Andrew popped over to help out. With the anglers pond nearby, it was great for bird watching. We will definitely be returning and thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We had most amazing time. Sarah was the best host we could have wished for, very friendly and willing to help and advise whenever we needed. The yurt was very cosy, and facilities were amazing. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed farm animals, especially goats. Location given us peace and privacy we needed. The hot tub made the whole stay more exciting and unique. I would highly recommend Sarah's place, as it felt like place created with love and passion to the heritage of the place (old farm)

Weekend Trip to Gilfach Gower Farm Luxury Yurt
The Yurt is situated all by itself in a small meadow, so completely private. The kitchen and toilet/shower are in a separate block about 85 metres away, both were spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The would burning stove in the Yurt kept it really warm and comfortable even on a frosty February morning and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. Sarah was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, including keeping us topped up with firewood. If I was looking for negatives I would suggest that some heating in the shower room would have been nice and the kitchen was a bit of a walk away, especially if it rains as there are no cooking facilities at the Yurt. Don't let either thing put you off though, I am only being picky, we had a brilliant two night stay and only wished we could have stayed longer.
