A peaceful idillc 10 acre organic orchard, set in the Shropshire’s rolling hills.
Nestled away on a quiet country lane, just a short walking distance from Tenbury wells. known as ‘the town in the orchards ‘ .
Our orchard boasts a wide array of native wildflowers, birds and wildlife. regular sightings of Buzzards, red kites, owls, deer, foxes and badges.
On a clear night the orchard is great for star gazing. We have fire-pits on site or you’re welcome to Bring your own.
We welcome you to light a evening fire, howl to the moon, and listen out for the resident owls ‘twittwoo’ in to the night…
We have recently refurbished our site. and now have lovely new facilities for our guests to use in the camp space.
Our pitches are well spread out to ensure families feel safe and private.
We sell our own firewood and our homemade charcoal on site..
We have a pizza oven on site.

Shire Camping is located in a peaceful 10 acre meadow looking towards Edge Hill. Spacious and with running drinking water, hot showers and flushing toilets. There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. There are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. There are also some well regarded cycling routes in the area.

Lovely fields, with one having a direct view of The Roaches. We arrived on the Thursday and so had the pick of the best spots. Stayed for 4 nights.
The pub up the road was great and is also highly recommended. The onsite food van was very good, although only open set days and times.
Firepit was good and plenty of wood.
All in all, would definitely recommend and would also stay again.
Oh, be aware, there is NO electric hookup!

Harry was very helpful, greated us on arrival, delivered logs and kindling to our pitch! Great place, spacious pitches and clean toilets and showers and washing up facilities. Pizza on Friday nights and coffee van in the morning! Beautiful area to stay in pub only 20min walk away! Will definitely stay again!

Very pleased we chose this site for our weekend trip - fantastic location with amazing views of the Roaches. The onsite pizza and breakfast truck is very handy too, but get in early as it’s very busy on Saturday night.
Site is basic with no electric hookup and only a small toilet block in the first field but that’s enough for a short trip.
Reservoir visitor centre just a few minutes away is great with a nice cafe and play park. There’s also a Lidl just a few minutes away in Leek so you can stock up.

I stayed at The Hollies for four nights, Sunday to Thursday and it was a very peaceful site. There was a gentle flow of campers arriving and leaving, but as there's so much space it was lovely and quiet during the whole stay. The fields are well kept and level, and the one I stayed in had beautiful mountain views which were lovely to wake up to. There are loads of walks right on the doorstep so you can begin hiking right from the door without having to drive anywhere. Leek is a five minute drive away and has plenty of food shops for supplies. I even managed to get pizza delivery one evening! Showers are £1 for five minutes, but at £18 per night you can't really complain at that, and the water is good and hot with good pressure. Very welcome after a very long hot walk through the countryside. You can also shower cold for free which I did a couple of times just to cool down!
I'll definitely return here and would recommend to anyone looking to camp and hike in the area.

Holy moly, I can't believe how stunning this place is and how cheap for the exclusive use! We absolutely loved our stay here, beauty & wild nature all around, no other annoying campers disturbing our peace, totally perfect. The compost loo was clean and had a lovely view like everywhere else at our spot. Plenty of pretty stony streams not far away to have a wash which I much prefer to showers any day! So quiet, not even the distant rumble of any roads, just lots of lovely birdsong, the breeze and the gentle fluttering of the many butterflies' wings in our meadow-with-a-view. Felt like a real privilege to be there. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Ryan & family for our wonderful weekend getaway ❤️😊

Campsite was lovely! Amazing views, owners were friendly and helpful. They come round once a night with fireplaces. Toilets and showers were clean. On site stone baked sourdough pizza and hotdog van with warm cookie dough!! I was the first person to try a hot dog and I would highlyyy recommend! We had an excellent weekend and can’t wait to come back!!

Great place,couldn't wish for better stay,perfect for my family especially as we have a 4 year old with autism so can't go to busy campsites.The hosts dad (lovely bloke)even came over to give my kids a ride round the field on a trailer with his quad.will definitely be back soon 👍

We had a wonderful 2 nights at The Hollies. Our preference is for chilled out campsites with campfires permitted and this site suited us perfectly. In addition the views are amazing, there’s a couple of great pubs nearby and short walk to a nearby reservoir with woodland walks. The toilets are regularly cleaned and well stocked but we didn’t try the showers. It’s a laid back site but well organised and the fire pit delivery with logs is perfect. Deposit returned on your last day.
