Wild Deer, Pheasants, Rabbits and Hares, all regular visitors to the camp fields. Nature is very close here if you are quiet and watch. We are in a "Dark Skies" zone so star watching is a must. A small "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Camping with modern touches. Power is generated from Solar-PV and all pitches have access to Hookup should you need it. The camp has open plan pitches to enhance the views (Pls book hardstanding in wet weather) All Weather 365 Hardstanding pitches. Great for winter or bad weather. If the weather turns bad you can upgrade after arrival (subject to availability)

The Industrial Revolution World Heritage site started in Shropshire in the 1790s, with many UNESCO sites nearby to visit. Mines on the Stiperstones are good for trekking.
** The National Trust now operates (March 26) the Birthplace of Industry. Blists Hill Victorian town (54acres) and the 10 local museum sites. These ten sites include Enginuity, Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, and the Jackfield Tile Museums as well as 35 other buildings. All free for members.

I recently visited Lakeland boats sales looking for my new narrowboat home and was pleasantly surprised to see the campsite across the road, as I’d traveled 3 hrs I thought I’d stay the night and I’m so pleased I did. Canal running through the site, lovely field, couple of portable toilets, yes it’s basic but that’s what I like. Big thank you to Patrick and hipcamp 👍

Had a lovely relaxing time at Wudu woods! The hosts are very welcoming, and having the opportunity to feed the animals and muck out was great! My 6 year old in particular didn’t want to leave and had to promise to bring her back.

Lovely quiet off grid field next to canal and short walk to village and National Trust. Fab farm shop over the road. Owners so lovely and helpful. Sat with fire pit watching the stars. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Chrome Hill Campers. Super location for a walk over Chrome Hill. Enjoyed a ploughman’s lunch at the Chapel Tearoom in Hollingsclough.
Shower was lovely and hot and enjoyed talking to other campers. Great facilities. View and sunset to die for. We will be back!

Stayed for 2 nights, great site with really good amenities, loads of things to do nearby, if your into canal walks etc. it was the owners wife’s birthday on my last night, had an absolutely amazing time at the clubhouse, everyone who works there are really friendly and welcoming. Would gladly stay again, but stay away from the tequila rose next time!!.

I’d really recommend this site! The location & views are beautiful with the Roaches, Luds Church & Tittesworth Reservoir being close walks.
The facilities are great with super pressure showers and regularly cleaned toilets! The team coming round with available fire pits is a lovely touch and the food van (Fridays & weekends) do a great breakfast sandwich! The site is really well maintained too, any holes/tyre indents on the ground left in the morning were filled by the team which was noticed & appreciated😊 Only advice would be to boil some water to take washing up as it’s only cold water available but not a review-reflecting issue 😊 we’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely time in the camper van at The Hollies. The location is perfect, beautiful views, close to The Roaches (which is where we were heading for a sunset walk).
Easy to find, easy access. You just drive on, and decide where to park up.
There are 2 small toilet blocks - no queuing, well stocked. Pay as you go hot showers. (Pound coins required)
We were unable to take advantage of the fire pit hire (£32 cash needed for the pit hire, and wood, etc, £20 of which is returned back to you upon collection of the pit) as we were quite late returning back to site. The other campers looked to be enjoying them though.
I'm not sure if the pizza van was open for our stay, it was closed when we got back to site just before 21.00. Otherwise that would have been a perfect end to a perfect day.
We would definitely return to The Hollies. :-)

Would recommend 👍 Great place. Hot showers. Clean toilets. Hosts courteous and lovely. 7k round trip to the top of one of the Roches. 10min walk to the reservoir. Allows firepits and dogs. Pub only 5 mins away. Shops nearby.
Only thing I would dock half a star for is only cold water for washing up and £1 for 5 mins of showers but the shower was so lovely and hot I'd rather pay a quid for it, just think 10mins for a quid would be better and I'll bring washing up gloves next time cos my hands were freezing!
All in all a wonderful trip and highly recommended for camping with mates.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here over a weekend in March with our dog. The views straight from the pitch are wonderful. It’s really great (& very unexpected) that there’s a bathroom which was very clean. Chrome Hill & Parkhouse Hill are just down the road if hiking is your thing. We definitely recommend this place & will be returning. Thanks Alan & Lesa for a great spot to stay :-)
