The Cabin is situated on our 17 acres of land, next to our garden. It faces down the valley with scenic views and a peaceful setting. An ideal place to relax and a great base from which to explore the beautiful Dorset coast and countryside whether by foot, bicycle, horse or car. If you like wildlife you may spot deer, hares, kestrels, buzzards, barn owls and many more creatures.There is a bbq/fire pit so you can sit outside and stargaze. With no light pollution and a big expanse of sky many stars can be seen on a clear night and the sunsets here can be spectacular.
We are slowly but surely making our land more nature friendly. We have sown thousands of wild flowers seeds and planted hundreds of native hedging and trees. To encourage more bird life we are planning to provide more places for them to roost and nest.There is plenty more to do but we are enjoying the journey and hope you will too.
The cabin is open plan with a light and pleasant lounge space with a large sofa. A sleeping nook with french linen curtains around it contains a comfortable double bed and cozy duvet; you can lie in bed with a brew and observe the natural world from the window. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed with a fridge/freezer, two ring gas hob and combi-microwave which are perfect for light cooking. Plus a compact shower room.
There is no live tv but the free streaming services are available or log into your own accounts for a quiet night in.

A very spacious campsite with well-maintained composting facilities. The scenic drive down to the site is beautiful, and the clear night skies make it perfect for stargazing. Martins and owls were active both day and night, adding to the atmosphere. On some alternate nights, music played nearby from around 10 pm to 4 am. While noticeable, it was at a consistent and tolerable volume, and importantly, it wasn’t accompanied by disruptive behaviour.

Had a great time at Snelling Farm. It's spacious, clean, quiet, and very scenic. The directions were clear, and the location was easy to find. Would definitely recommend!

We camped during the week and on the Saturday. It had clean facilities and it was nice and peaceful during the week, but on the Friday night, it got slightly busier and others pitched their tents a little too close to ours (even when there was plenty of space in the middle) and were not told to move. I was woken up early by the sound of them hitting the shuttlecock (not even by them talking) that’s how close they were!

Any campsite is as good as the people who greet and help you to enjoy your stay, this place is great. Good quality clean and accessible facilities set in a large field ensuring you are never too close to anyone else allowing you to soak up the peaceful natural setting. We had good weather for our stay but I don’t think a change in weather would have dampened our stay. Would recommend this place for a visit, especially if you’re looking for a very quite location to spend your evening after exploring the local Dorset attractions

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Fox Talbot Glamping tent at Piccadilly campsite! Everywhere was spotlessly clean, we didn't have to queue to use any of the facilities and my children loved the play area. The tent itself was beautiful! Freshly cut flowers! The beds were comfortable and warm, the biscuits were delicious and I breathed a sigh of relief seeing a electric kettle for the tea and coffee (I hate boiling water on a camping stove)
