North Norfolk Camping & Glamping, known as Holt Hollow, provides a rare, tranquil, and back-to-nature escape in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. Nestled in a wooded area on the outskirts of the AONB, the site's most distinctive feature is its beautiful natural lake and surrounding peaceful woodlands, ideal for walks and wildlife spotting.
🔥 Back-to-Basics & Off-Grid Ethos
The site strongly emphasizes its back-to-basics philosophy:
Off-Grid Living: Holt Hollow operates off-grid with limited to no phone coverage, promoting full disconnection from technology. Glamping Shepherds Huts & Yurts utilise gas-powered showers and solar lighting, with log burners for heat.
Campfires: Campfires and BBQs are allowed. Glamping units include private fire pits/braziers for evening gatherings under the clear, dark Norfolk skies, which are excellent for stargazing.
Core Facilities: Essential amenities are kept clean and functional, including shower/toilet blocks and fresh drinking water stations.

Great way to camp. The staff are so attentive and helpful. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The extras made all the difference. We loved the massage, movie projector and the breakfast boxes. Would definitely recommend staying here but remember this is camping, so bring your wellies.

Fantastic set up! Really recommend a break away here. The yurts have everything you need. Comfiest bed ever too! Pretty decor. Definitely worth treating yourself to the Norfolk Pizza’s and breakfast boxes as extra’s!
Had never used a wood burning hot tub, wasn’t sure they’d be as good, but after enough time to heat, sooo hot and relaxing.
Easy helpful and friendly check in and departure, we didn’t want to leave.
Just make sure you take your wellies in winter!

We absolutely LOVED it! Everything was perfect, the photos don’t do justice to just how wonderful it all is. The beautiful yurts, amazing view, communal cooking and dining areas, it’s all totally magical. Also such a friendly and helpful host. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to stay again!

Best glamping Iv ever done. Do quite and peaceful, host makes you feel very welcome and the hot tub was amazing. I would defo recommend to others for a peaceful romantic evening.

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Wild Meadow. It is in a stunning setting. Our yurt was very comfortable and well equipped. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and well situated. The communal kitchen was brilliant it had everything we needed and it was nice to meet the other campers. A big thank you to Colin who looks after the site, he met us on arrival gave us a tour round and was always on hand if we needed him. It’s ideally situated for access to the coast and Fakenham is only 5 mins away. Will definitely be returning

Amazing views and sunsets and a very relaxed but well organised site. The yurt was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall we have a lovely 5 days in the gorgeous Norfolk countryside. Not too far from the coast and the beautiful Norfolk beaches. Highly recommend!
