Off the beaten track on top of the Mendips in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A mixture of four acres of wild woodland, orchard and field set on a hillside.
Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. The Yurt is big and sleeps up to four very comfortably. It has its own stove and outside is a washroom just for you with hot shower , toilet and sinks. Your own meadow allows you to just relax and be.
Up on the campfield you can bring your own tent or hire a Belle tent from us with all the fittings to camp contentedly. Our new Wash House has hot showers, flushing toilets and basins. You can light a fire and cook up a BBQ or maybe just watch the world go by.
A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you.
We moved here after an 18 month search 11 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

We loved our stay, it really was a perfect couple of days.
The cabins had everything we needed and beds were made up on arrival.
The pool was a brilliant addition and seeing a plane take off and land next to us.
Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful :)

We're usually campers, but our stay in the Shepherd's Hut was brilliant. Really well thought out space in a beautiful field, perfect for sunrises as well as sunsets. We had great fun with the firepit/bbq! The kids loved spotting rabbits and making friends with the campers pitched nearby. Katie was really helpful and communicative - a perfect host. Definitely one to keep in mind for future camping trips!

Wow what a hidden gem! We had an absolutely lovely time. If you like privacy, peace and quiet and amazing views and also only 5 mins to Hereford town centre. The site has an amazing indoor swimming pool with showers and toilets too. Couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful if we needed anything.

A wonderful little home away from home for a few nights stay. The microwave/toaster, kettle are an added bonus and TV if you wish. Very peaceful stay, amenities all very close by, especially for a night-time visit to the WC.

This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time. Woodland Tipis has such a relaxing feel to it. Mark and the team manage ro achieve the perfect balance of feeling connected to the beautiful woodland setting with comfort and thoughtful attention to detail. This break was just what our little family needed to reconnect and escape after a very busy few weeks, thank you. We hope to return again!

3 nights at Cuddfan - The Hiding Place
We had the most wonderful stay, it is very peaceful and so lovely listening to the sound of the river. Our dog had the best time and you feel nicely removed from the other tent, we did not see anyone else while we were there.
The pictures do not do the camp justice, the tent itself is now on a small platform and is a good size, mattresses and sheets were provided. There is also a table and bench there which was very handy.
Only things to be aware of it is a fairly steep hill down to the camp from the parking so don't pack too heavy. We also were confused by the listing info and thought there may be a solar powered fridge but this tent is completely off grid so bring ice packs! Like the other reviews said, bring your own cutlery etc.
The pub is just down the road and we did some lovely walks from the doorstep including up to sugar loaf. We definitely would stay again and hope to be back!

The Yurt is beautiful & with the backdrop of the Tor, just simply gorgeous! The perfect place to stop & switch off from the world. The Yurt has a great bed, lovely decor & a very effective log burner, very toasty. Wells &

What an incredible place to stay. The photos don’t do the Billy Goat cabin and its little neigbour huts justice. Our kids had a blast in their own private wood, running through the pathways to the lookout and hanging out in the Wendy house and they couldn’t believe that we got to see the microlights take off right next to our base. Sally was just the most incredible and accommodating host and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back again! X

Weekend Trip to The T Barn
We had such a wonderful stay at the shepherd’s hut and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, especially with the beautiful weather we were lucky enough to have — it made everything feel even more magical and relaxing.
Everything was explained so clearly on arrival, which made settling in really easy and stress-free. The hut itself was spotless, well thought out, and had everything we needed for a cosy and comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was definitely our meal at The Village Pub — it was honestly the best meal of the trip and made the whole experience feel even more special.
We had the best time and would absolutely love to come back again. Such a perfect little escape to the countryside!

We had a wonderful weekend here. The indoor skate park is an incredible feature, and we had a great time in the tree net and playing big chess. We stayed in the lovely converted horsebox and it had everything we needed. I would happily visit again to stay for a weekend or along Offa's Dyke Path.

The shepherds hut was fabulous. Lovely quiet, rural location with some excellent dog walks close by. The hut itself was well appointed with fantastic ‘extras’: a fresh crusty loaf, eggs from the owners chickens, butter, milk, huge marshmallows for toasting, biscuits, jam, etc. Great fire pit with wood and firelighters. The hit has an ensuite bathroom with flushing toilet and hot shower. The bed was really comfortable and extra blankets are provided for chilly nights, plus a wood-burning stove and a plug in heater if needed. There is a regular fridge, with ice-box and a 2-burner gas hob for quick fry-ups.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place - we had a fantastic stay.

Had an absolutely magical two night stay here for our anniversary. The bed is super comfy. The bath was so relaxing I'm afraid it might have ruined every other bath for me from here on out! The outdoor shower is superb, I've never felt so relaxed and energised.
The area is absolutely beautiful, we went for a walk on the gorgeous bluebell woods and the woodland commons.
Hostess was super friendly and helpful, I can't recommend it enough.
